As SoCalPol said early on..........she lives in San Diego and the situation is dire, but she believes the Bush bashers have hijacked the issue and are preventing serious discussion. socalpol and I lived within 2miles of one another ALL our live's up until I moved to MS last year. She is correct on all counts.

You know, I have wondered about that myself; I wonder if the people who are so uncompromising and strident in their views didn't cause the illegals to take to the streets -- sort of unintended consequences.
