The Minuteman Caravan rolls into real patriotic country tonight -- Greensboro, NC. The rally is set for 7pm. Please join them if you are anywhere in the vicinity.

Tomorrow its Richmond, VA, then the caravan rolls into D.C. on Friday.
Sounds like a wonderfully, successful rally. It's always annoying when the anti-groups show up, but many media were there to witness. The publicity for the Minutemen should be great. The anti-groups are giving him much proof to take to D.C. on Friday...
The Greensboro rally turned out fine after all last night, after a lot of adaptation and spontaneity.
Lyman reports that as the Caravan was driving into Greensboro last night, they saw families along the route waving to them, giving them thumbs up and they felt a sense of relief from the townspeople at their arrival.
At the same time, they received word that the marxist scum had showed up at the new rally point ... American Furniture ... and could be violent, etcetera, i.e., the usual leftist intimidation tactic. However, local talk show host Alan Handelman of 101.1 FM, sent out the distress signal to supporters who jammed the switchboard with offers of alternative locations.
The Minute Men, true to their motto, decided to stand their ground and showed up opposite the rally location, even though the American Furniture "owners" had relented and offered their parking lot again, albeit with conditions.
There is more of this report in today's Caravan thread, so follow the link in post #80 above ... See you there!
Hey you guys. Thanks for humoring me when I got on my high horse yesterday. I'll try to be nicer ...
Why did no one ask the Old North State Chapter members or other NC FReepers in the Greensboro area for assistance in securing a permit? We have several very active members who could have helped this event "run like clockwork".
Glad it all worked out for y'all, anyway.
I can't answer that. I wasn't in charge.
I answered you as best I could in FReepmail.
Glad it all went well! Sounds like media coverage was fair as well!
Lyman was in great spirits as I spoke with him today; they considered the outcome QUITE successful!
It's just too bad if some local supporters missed out because of the location snafu!
Forget about nice, En. You're plenty nice enough. Keep bringing truth and sound judgment to everyone. You're on the right track.
