I've often wondered how one man can shoot 1200 rounds all at once. I'll lurk this thread so maybe someone can brainwash me.
All you need is a high capacity magazine. ;>)

It's the whole principle of stocking up a lot of ammo so that if you're in a situation where you'll really need it, you'll have plenty to go around. I let my stock of ammo get way too low a few months ago, but even though I'm really tight on money I buy a couple of boxes here and there when I get spare change and slowly build up my supplies.
When I go to the range with my mom, dad, sisters, and brother-in-law, we often go through at least this must ammo. Of course, ours is a combination of .22, 9mm, .45ACP, 30-30, 30-06, .44 black powder, .50 black powder, 12-gauge, and 16-gauge. Of course, when you have eight people shooting, this is only one hundred fifty rounds apiece.
Depends on your definition of "all at once". I've shot up that much .22 LR in just 3 or 4 days. Well I had a little help from other family members, but we shot more like 2,000 rounds.
One too many Viagra's can be dangerous!
come on up to MI sometime and i'll show ya. 1,200 rounds of .22 won't last more than a couple hours.
It's easy! Takes about a minute, if you've linked all the belts together...
