Fox News ^

LOS ANGELES — The U.S. Border Patrol is alerting the Mexican government to the locations of civilian border patrol groups when the organizations help detain suspected illegal immigrants or use violence against them, according to a published report.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Mario Martinez told the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin of Ontario that the policy is meant to assure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed.

I see you didn't do any reading about the free trade treaties. Bush want to erase our national borders between Canada and Mexico for the CAFTA free trade as part of this globalistic sustainable continent crap.

I'm for trade. I'm against illegal immigration. I just don't think allowing the democrats to take charge of the issue is any better. It's going from the frying pan into the fire.

Some FReepers are falling for it hook, line, and sinker. They're taking the bait.

You might have a point, except this is being reported by Fox News and isn't just a blogsphere claim.

Rupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton (Conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch will host a fundraiser for liberal New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, the Financial Times reports. )

"In the meantime, beware of the liberal press. They will try to get you so outraged, you'll not vote at all, and that's the plan. If you don't believe it, pay attention to the news they're reporting. It IS designed to outrage the base, and once you are aware of it, it sticks out like Club Gitmo t-shirt !!!"

Do you really believe that the majority of FReepers, who are so against the invasion of illegal aliens that they will not vote for anyone, including Republicans, who aid and abet this invasion, are all just being manipulated by the liberal press? Do you really think that you, and the small number of FReepers that agree with you, are the only ones who understand the consequences of their voting choices?

Do a reality check. Many intelligent people on FR and otherwise are totally against your "support Republicans at any cost" position. These people support their position with facts and logic. You, on the other hand, merely recite the fear mongering talking points of the RNC, designed to keep Republicans on the plantation.

Reanalyze your position. The RINO'S are not just an irritant, they are enabling the passage of the liberal agenda. By supporting them, you also are supporting the passage of the Democrats liberal position. Is this really where you want to be?

So Fox news is now the liberal press? You don't think they did some checking on this before running it?

Now, please show me where that means Fox News ceased to do fact-checking. Or is it that any criticism of Bush over illegal immigration now makes someone suspect?

They call the border control when they find them trying to cross.

Correct. And when the U.S. Government informs the Mexican government of the location of a civilian operation, the Mexican government is able to pass this information on to its citizenry, who in turn use this information to gain safe passage into the United States. But then again, my comprehension skills are not as great as others, so I could just be imagining the whole thing.

Why don't you respond to what 'new cruelty' wrote?

It wasn't worth it. There are legal Mexicans here that are sympathetic to the illegals. It doesn't matter what they do for a living. It was a stupid comment not well thought out.

Or the contrary. Don't risk your life coming in because you'll be caught and sent home.

We elect a president of a particular party with the belief that he will be able to shut the fire off. That is what I expected from Bush in 2001. To say the least he didn't fulfill my desires.

This post will explain how I feel.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________

I'm almost 60, I voted R for 35 years and watched America slip and slide into the sad state we are in today because of RINO's and a dysfunctional RNC. I feel stupid that I didn't start supporting a third party when I was your age.

Right now we have these free trade agreements, GATT, NAFTA, & CAFTA. What are they? They are sovereignty destructive tools designed by the CFR and the UN that have removed 90% of our heavy manufacturing from CONUS and redistributed the plants around the world into third world countries that benefit only international EU companies. I have watched thousands of American companies smoothly sold to foreign ownerships with the jobs outsourced from our soil.

The last thing Bush wants is secure borders because of the last trade agreement which opens the entire continent to free trade. The Agenda 21 Plan is about balancing the population across the entire continent and balancing national economies. There isn't a word in their about US national sovereignty.

I have watched our once secure ports and shipping industries decimated by the Bush1 and Bush2 administrations. The Chinese have more control over what is shipped to America than the American citizens do.

The national deficit is over 8 TRILLION dollars, the price of transportation has been steadily rising at the hands of sleazy bastards who think a dollar is more important than national security. Do you realize how shaky our entire airline industry is today because of rising fuel costs?

Yet we have billions of gallons of oil under our own topsoil that this administration is wimping along saying they want to drill for. Like hell they do. When was the last refinery built on American soil? Thirty years ago or longer? Strengthening American industry is not what this administration is working for. They are working for the exact opposite!

Bringing in 30 million people with an average IQ score of 85 is not what one does to build strong nations. Bringing in people who have no desire to assimilate, just steal and plunder from the citizens isn't what the Presidential oath is about.

It is time that you do some real deep thinking about helping to design and build a strong third party that uses our Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution as the base documents instead of the Communist Manifesto.

[. . .Communism is not the absence of capitalism, it is state capitalism where the elite, those who run the state, are the only capitalists and the rest of the people are the capital, i.e. slaves. Under our system, I have a chance to be a capitalist by having a small business and running it. Under theirs, they run me. Communism is nothing more than a gigantic state-run slave plantation.]

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

Enough, you are intelligent, do your own clear minded research and you'll see we are being dragged down by the two political parties we now have.

The liberal politicians may be pulling some strings, but the border control is sending them back. The Minutemen could vouch for that. They call the border control when they find them trying to cross

Umm what the heck is "border conrol"? You sound like another Bushbot who knows nothing of how our immigration laws are supposed to be "enforced".

It wasn't worth it. There are legal Mexicans here that are sympathetic to the illegals. It doesn't matter what they do for a living. It was a stupid comment not well thought out.

You noted earlier- This story is about a Mexican talking to a liberal Canadian. Notice how no Americans are involved in any of it.

I wouldn't go so far as to say your comments are stupid- but the one that I questioned did appear to be not well thought out.

There are no facts provided in the posted article to assert that Martinez is Mexican and not a U.S. citizen. In fact, there is more evidence to suggest that Martinez is indeed a U.S. citizen.

Also, it is simple enough to verify that the Ontario noted in the posted article is in California, and not Canada, as you initially claimed.

And, Martinez aside, to claim that no Americans are involved in any part of the story is to completely ignore the portion of the article that quotes Chris Simcox and TJ Bonner. I can understand your distaste for the liberal media and your concern over the mounting attacks on the GOP, but to discredit this article with comments that contain no semblance of fact only detracts from your efforts.
