For the last couple weeks I have written about my feelings and the history surrounding the illegal immigration problem in America. This problem and the lack of our government doing anything to stop or deal with it this has a majority of people on both sides of the political spectrum upset.
Everyone is talking about it and getting upset because our government is doing nothing to deal with it. This is most likely going to decide the outcome of the next few elections in this nation both local and on a state and federal levels.
We see demonstrations all the time on both sides of the issue and the mainstream media is, as expected, siding with the illegal criminals. Almost every government form and all the instructions with anything you buy are in English and Spanish language.
Here in Oregon our Governor has allowed agencies like the Department of Motor Vehicles and others to issue them drivers license’s without question. However you as an American citizen must meet all kinds of obligations to do the same thing. They have been given the full protection of the Constitution and state granted privileges without doing anything to earn them but break our laws.
The cost to you and me as taxpayers is in the billions of dollars from every aspect of our government financed institutions and civilian run services. They take jobs and money from our economy and help their native land. Many Americans are out of work because jobs are being given to the illegals at much lower wages. Yet we are told that they are here to make a better life for them and their families and they are only taking jobs that Americans will not do. This is so much pure BS that no one will swallow. When the chips are down they tell us how they are taking back the land we took from them and we all know they are taking good family wage jobs and helping break our unions.
We ask how this will all end up. Many think that this will come to a shooting war and it will take place right here on our soil. I talk with these people every day and this is a strong feeling among many that I talk with. Others hope and pray we will be able to get the government to change things without a war and that we, the people, will be able to vote those into office that will do this.
I feel history will prove us wrong on government help. Is this the end of America and our freedoms? Will we go quietly into the night and let this happen? I think not. We are not as soft as they think we are.
You see I still have faith in America and Americans and the drive that comes each time we are faced by and enemy that would destroy our nation and our freedoms. Oh, it may be a bloody battle and many lives will be lost on each side, but when the glove is thrown down, that old American spirit will once more rise to the occasion and put a stop to it. I also pray that God will once more smile on us and give us the strength and will to go on, just as he did our founding fathers and those who followed in their foot steps in each and every war to keep our freedoms and help others. It has always been that a few dedicated great Americans have come forth to lead the rest into victory and overcome adversity.
I see it as a great sacrifice that may cause us all to live under a new standard of living and change things here in this nation. Many will loose much to keep things going and it will be hard. But like the bull dogs we are, we shall stand up and keep going -- once more making our future generations proud and showing the world that we are a force to be reckoned with, that this is once more a nation under God. So, don’t let them tread on us any more and keep your ground. We are a strong and free people that will hold onto our most precious possession, freedom.

Round up the illegals like a responsible country would arrest murders, rapists and child molesters: one a time, if necessary!
While I do not disagree with Sheriff Cook's overall assessment, I would like to see him better define the various belligerents.

He does have a small point. Why do I as a citizen, born here have to prove out the wazoo I'm an american citizen before I get anything and some illegal can get by with anything for the same service?
I am not a big fan of frivilous lawsuits, but it's almost time to invoke the equal protection argument here.

Lawsuits won't solve this problem of illegals. We need federal, state, and local government/law enforcement to catch and deport illegals.
To do that, we need to elect politicians who agree this must be done and that have backbone to do it. No going soft or pandering to the illegals/ACLU. We also need to change the law that gives automatic citizenship to a baby born on US soil, despite the fact the parents are here illegally.

They are called Articles of Secession, It will only take one governor with stones to start the ball rolling. It may be a lot closer than you think. Honestly, wouldn't you like to see a Governor actually protect his states citizens and invoke martial law along an international border?

I am telling you guys once again. I repeat. We have got to get out their and march. Just like the illegal immigrants and their activists did. Do you really think these guys are gonig to admit that millions of Americans are agains this. No. They will say later that there were not that many Americans out their demonstrating to start this. Actions or rather marches speak louder than words. It is an embarassment to this administration to have millions of illegal immigrants and their activists out there marching and demanding amnesty. They are trying to shut them up as soon as possible. It will be even more embarrassing to have millions of Americans demonstrating to close the border and enforce the immigration laws on the books. Now you do you think Bush and our senators/gop representatives will look the biggest fools ignoring. Their citizens or illegal immigrants. You are fooling yourself if you think that writing them and emailing them is enough. All they have to say is they didn't get your letters or phone calls. It's time to get off your comfortable couches and get on the street and demonstrate. Also buy no Products with "Made in Mexico" on them. It's time we started an economic boycott against Mexico.
