Really???

I wonder if HE know that Kerry was in Vietnam????

I haven't gotten his show here yet...but, from the posts, I can tell he has opened his show with the SAME rant he has been spewing for a while...

The FIRST time he blamed Bush for Katrina, he lost me.

Yes and I was mad at the President for not backing Toomey. Still, he is demonstrating what his Congressional critics are now running away from--even when THEY were unpopular and the President WAS popular he stuck with them. He showed honor. These other guys show rank cowardice in the line of fire. Still...they're OUR guys and we need a GOP majority, but next time I'd back Toomey.

I would add to your list of Reagan "sins"...his signing of the first amnesty legislation...if only because it set the precedent for what Bush is being blamed for right now...

BUT, I hope realize, because Sean obviously doesn't, that President Bush never TRIED to be Reagan, he never claimed to be Reagan..and he didn't even try to run as a "Reagan conservative"...

He ran as a "compassionate conservative"...and I think that is what he has done, and is doing....

So...for anyone to get mad about it...needs to get over it.

Speaker Newt did a good piece on FNC on the Avian flu that I TiVod on Saturday. It was a fairly realistic pros and cons of what the issues were. This H5N1 is NOT a human disease and without a fairly large mutation cannot be a human disease. I'm not saying it can't happen, but the odds are a lot lower than the fear mongers are spreading.

Great call from that guy who talked about the Phelps lowlifes being stopped from protesting at a funeral by a couple hundred vets who showed up and blocked their access.

In retrospect, Reagan was great intentioned with the amnesty, but what he should have done was recognized how bad INS (now BICE) is as an agency and abolished and reform it. If we could get rid of the deadwood in that agency, we might make progress at getting LEGAL immigration to work, so there was no need for illegal immigration.

Please don't misunderstand, I defended Harriet Miers to the bitle end. Fought with Levin over it even. But both sides were in panic mode before the President even made the pick. Can I say I am tired of all these clowns, both sides bashing everything he does. WANT TO MAKE THE PICKS? WIN THE OFFICE!

Rant Off/

I am still looking at all the primary candidates here in NE and the primary is tomorrow. I think all three candidates in Gov race are good, but am leaning toward Heineman. I think all three Senate candidates would be good, would kinda like it to be Stenberg, but he already lost to Nelson once. Will probably vote for Ricketts or Kramer.

Snow is expected to give an informal briefing - known as a gaggle - on Friday and hold his first televised briefing next Monday.

Are Dems being overconfident about the upcoming elections?

Not if I can help it...

My plan is to not work to help Snowe. She's secure. I am focusing on our governor race. I will be supporting whoever the republican is. Baldacci's destroying the state. Also, there's a female republican running against Tom Allen. I will be supporting her.

Other than that... I can use the time I would have used for Snowe to help Santorum and Talent and other vulnerable republican candidates.

If your state is secure this 2006 I recommend others do the same. ADOPT A CANDIDATE

ELECTION 2006 LINKS

Another thing I plan on doing is posting articles I see here at FR in other newsgroups where everybody is NOT a republican. Sometimes we forget that we are preaching to the choir and we need to go out among the "sinners" and spread the good news of conservatism. So I often combat the liberal moonbats in USENET / GOOGLE POLITICAL NEWSGROUPS

I also recommend joining (for free) this wonderful site called www.gopteamleader.com
