Will the next generation of U.S. citizens consider themselves Americans or post-Americans? Better still, why wouldn't they consider themselves post-Americans? Considering how quickly this republic is unraveling, is it too late to ask rhetorical questions?

Maybe Actually the replacement, in the light machine gun role, the M-240 is heavier, by 4+ pounds. 27.6 verses 23 for the original M-60, and the M60E-3 was lighter still, 18.75 lbs. The lightweight caused reliability problems and in the words of one article "resulted in low troop acceptance". :)

The M249 SAW, the M-60 replacement in the squad automatic weapon role, (also replacement for the M-16 in the automatic rifleman role) is lighter 16.5 lbs, but also fires the lighter 5.56 rather than 7.62.

This wave is already as large as a percentage and far larger in raw numbers than any other. It is also still going with no end in sight. It comes largely from a country that borders our own. This is unprecedented. The growing popularity of the idea of integration with mexico is possible because of this wave.

I agree. But not by being such idiots in the way we go about it that we leave Congress in the grip of the DIMRATS. We must decrease their numbers by every legal means we can. And we must especially keep Shrillery out of the White House.
