Thanks for a great post.
It will be ignored by the anti-American Liberals here (who probably DON'T live in an area ruined by illegals), but at least the facts are here for all to see.

i am not the one making ridiculous claims...BTW in ten years Mexico fertiltiy rate falls to replacement...jsut as we didnt get swapmed by Irish and Italian catholics, we wont get swamped by hispanics.
You are talking about TOTALLY different mindsets. The europeans that came here were at the time impoverished, but their civilization had it's ups and downs in a short period of time. With the mexican and central americans, they have been pretty backward forever. Their birthrates will NOT decline, not in mexico and certainly not in the US.

If the Republic is well on it's way out the door, what should be done to slam the door before it gets there?
What should be done immediately and who should do it? That's the first question to answer. We need an 'if-then-else' logic chart to follow.
What's the goal? Put that at the bottom of the chart.
What must to done to attain that goal? That is the process.
The Goal: To reverse the gains that liberals have made on the political and social fronts over the past twenty years and return to a constitutional form of government.
The Process: Vote for people who are willing to do this, and don't vote for people who promise you a slower ride to the same destination. That is to say if Republicans govern like liberals, then we must vote for someone besides Republicans, or else we will end up in the same place that democrats would have taken us.
There are days when I truly do wonder if we are finished. To tell you the truth, this has nothing to do with what I see out in society, but more to do with the liberalism and globalism that I see advocated on a daily basis right here in our midst on FR.
If we are truly going to have a conservative movement that means anything, we are going to have to kick the libertarians and liberals out.

""Their birthrates will NOT decline, not in mexico and certainly not in the US.""
Ahhh..theyre already declining. next to South Korean no country has seen its fertility rate fall faster in the last 30 years than Mexicos.
1970 7.0
1980 5.0
2005 2.45
2015 2.1 (replacement level)
2050 1.8 (mexico's population begins to shrink)
One thing we know for cetain from fertiltiy rates, is this. Mexico's labor force in 20 years will be gorwing at less than 1/2 the rate it is today....it is a fact, it is 100% accurate.
Falling fertility rates are happening everywhere, even in Islamic countries.
AS gues what Ireland and Italy 100-150 years ago were MORE backward than Mexico is today

AS gues what Ireland and Italy 100-150 years ago were MORE backward than Mexico is todayPerhaps materially, but certainly not socially.

WASHINGTON - More than one in five births in California in 2002 were to mothers who are in the country illegally, according to a report released Thursday by a group that supports stronger enforcement of immigration laws.
The Center for Immigration Studies report said 22.1 percent of California births were to mothers that lacked legal residency - far higher than any other state. The rate in Riverside County was 21.1 percent, Tulare County was 26.3 percent, and 34.8 percent in Monterey County.
These are the top 10 states for births to undocumented mothers:
1. California - 22.1 percent
2. Arizona - 17.2 percent
3. Texas - 16.6 percent
4. Nevada - 16.4 percent
5. Colorado - 11.9 percent
6. Illinois - 11.2 percent
7. New York - 10.2 percent
8. New Jersey - 10.1 percent
9. Oregon - 9. percent
10. New Mexico - 9.7 percent

"I'm reading How the Irish Saved Western Civilization."
Read it. I gave my copy to an Irish cousin who went back home rather than become an illegal immigrant.
I found it rather dry and difficult to read.
I'm still trying to comprehend about the monasticism and the author's connections of that and the eventual rise with Western Civilization. I mean, I get it, and I sort of don't get it.

the neo-know nothings on FR.Count me among the "neo-know nothings on FR" who are bitterly opposed to traitorous RINOs (or CINOs) on FR who relentless push their post-American, internationalist agenda, frequently branding their opponents as racists, nativists, know-nothings, etc., merely because, like nearly all peoples of this world, they wish to maintain the cultural character of their homeland.

I believe Dane lives in SW Pennsylvania; a destination for hard working food growers & house builders from Mexico.

But it certainly does NOT bode well for your assertion either.

Italy wasnt even a country until 1871.I'm aware of that. Papal states and all that. But the folks on the Italian peninsula were more or less one people. And, I reiterate, socially, in 1870, light years ahead of today's illegals.
And no, I'm neither of Italian nor Irish descent.

How so? They were fascists from 1922-45 and invaded neighbours and countries in Africa, they were also full of anarchists in the 1890s.....i think you need to go read some history.
