I catch lefties in WalMart all the time. You can tell by the "Wellstone!" and Kerry bumper stickers in the parking lot. They're so hypocritical - you can't count on them to have principles if they want something.
And here I am choosing to continue buying groceries at Giant because they pay their workers a decent wage. I figure if I want to save money there, I'll just buy store brands. I guess these Wal-Mart liberals must think I'm a chump.

To whom it may concern,
Today, it was brought to my attention that you company is being touted for it's financial support of the Democratic political party on the website buyblue.org. As you can see from the enclosed copies of receipts, I have spent over the last 6 years, on average, about $1,500 per year at your store here. I do not desire to contribute anything that would help elect anybody from the party which your company devotes 100% of your political donations to. Therefore, unfortunately, I will be forced to take my business else where. Please remove my name from your customer lists and mailing lists.
If you would care to discuss this matter with me you may call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX anytime.
Sincerely,

No, it would not be practical to go after EVERYBODY. However, the most visible should be boycotted. Their newspapers should not be purchased, companies that cave to Jessie Jackson should be boycotted while those that oppose him should be supported.
It's a matter of picking and choosing the battles.
how far should this combat go - should they be firing people who donate wrong or who vote wrong?
No, its not about getting people fired, it's about sending a message to the management.
Should we check the politics of local small businesses or even our neighbors before we decide how to treat them?
Uh...yeah if it gets that far, if they push it to that point. If they start doing that to "red staters", we can't be docile about this. Remember, this is what they want to do. My suggestion is only a response measure.
The thing is that the Democrats hate NAFTA and GATT, but they want to bus in illegals and make them CITIZENS!!!
Their President is so liberal he has two left hands!!
Bingo! I had some free time one afternoon last summer and had their rep hemming and hawing and kept on being sent up the corporate food chain. They probably thought I was some right wing activist, well at least they got that right!
It's kind of a surprise that those of an ideology which is sympathetic to socialism would use free enterprise to raise money for its cause.
No, we should buy from companies that provide the best value.
Mostly that will probably be the same as buying red.
I wonder if it is considered a "bribe" if a corporation gives to a politician in exchange for getting people to buy products from them?
Hey, I just posted the thing. Don't shoot the messenger. :-)
Odd how the colors no longer change with incumbency. The Left is terrified of being (correctly) labelled as "red".
