Over the costs of the war, then Mc and Buch were arguing with two other libs defending their SUVs re: making mileage higher on vehicles.

I also bet that Bush is going to veto the emergency appropriations bill being debated in the Senate right now.

Bingo.

Great post on Merkel ignoring Hillary for the Business/Corporate People. She has to get Germany back in the red somehow they are in such a mess, and most of the mess was created by her predecessor and his inability to do anything but trash the USA.

Then Nancy will be the cromagbabe she was meant to be... maybe she can get a brainlift while she's there (they do that, you know).

My wife just hates it when I scream at the TV. She hates it even more when I rewind the Tivo, so I can scream some more.

Rush is going to have a frickin' field day with Pelosi this week. Tim Russert again proves himself to be the master of the leading question, with the bear trap ready to go...

"$50 Billion spent on defending the seaways for oil tankers, and that money could be better spent buying "energy independence".

I take that to mean she wants to disband the Navy and surrender the entire Persian Gulf to Iran. What else could that statement possibly mean??

There were so many things to scream about, I lost count.

Times were different then. Mills resigned in disgrace. Patrick Kennedy goes into rehab and becomes the victim worthy of our sympathy and fond hopes for a complete recovery so he can continue to do the people's business.

I always remember the photos from the official opening of the Clinton Libary President Bush seemed to be taking more notice and looking out for Chelsea than either of the Clintons were.

I noticed that as well. The President was very friendly toward Chelsea, in a fatherly type of way, and she was all smiles.

Kudlow is almost always right on target.

Yes, with emphasis on the almost. Unfortunately he holds the value of cheap illegal labor to be more important than borders, language, and culture.

"Clift is really stretching here!"

Used to call things like that "Conclusions in frantic search of factual support".

Clift isn't stretching so much as publicly turning herself into a pseudointellectual Moebius Strip.

First time I've read her stuff in years, and I'll see if I can set a new record for ignoring her beginning immediately.

Clinton never touched 50% in REAL elections and the democratic party started bleeding from then on. Even as MSM was hyping Clinton's high approval ratings, republicans start to gain in REAL elections. When Bush came, it accelerated even faster beating historic trends - republicans grab all three branches and local houses & governorships. Meanwhile, Sierra Club, AFLCIO & NARAL all lost their power significantly.

Economy, inspite of Katrina, Corporate scandals, 9/11 attach and 2 wars grew amazingly without MSM recognition of ANYTHING. MSM lost most of its' clout if not all.

History will judge differently about Bush.

I thought Roberts was very good today; best I have seen from him. Sometime he can be so wishy-washy, but today he was spot on.
