PATRICK KENNEDY Witness saw "glazed eyes."

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. - Two weeks before he crashed his Mustang into a security barrier, a glossy-eyed Patrick Kennedy drove against traffic and collided with another car in a RI drugstore parking lot. "He was swaying and his eyes were glazed," Sheila Lash, 75, of Newport, told the Boston Gobe. "Then he said the most unlikely thing: 'I'm so sorry for the fuss.' " .....he had the earlier accident on April 15 while driving his Crown Victoria close to his house in Portsmouth.

Lash - said she first noticed Kennedy when he zoomed out of a side Street and almost hit her. She honked her horn at him when she saw him swerve his car into oncoming traffic. Kennedy then turned left into a CVS parking lot and was smacked by an oncoming Nissan Maxima..........

Meanwhile in a interview with the Providance Journal....Kennedy admitted his March 2000 assault on a security guard at LA International Airport was because of his "mental illness," drinking and drug abuse.

"Mental illness"---that's all we need to know (snicker).

People like Kennedy make it bad for people who truly do have a mental illness.

It makes me sick that he can let words like that trip off his tongue whilst there are people out there that have suffered with true mental problems all their lives. Yet they live productive and law abiding lives.

I guess if you are Kennedy neither of the above need apply.

Well, he would quit the Congress and get more productive work for himself.......but McDonald's is overstaffed with illegals, so they don't have any immediate openings for ketchup pumpers.

At Nascar they make Rookies drive with a Yellow Bumper sticker on their car. Perhaps we should require drunken Kennedy's to at least have a Yellow light caution bar attached to the roof of their auto's.

The Portsmouth police report said Kennedy "appeared normal." His handwritten account of the accident was barely legible.

Lemme guess. The cops didn't give him a sobriety test last month either and probably gave him a ride home as well.

One thing about this, he qualifies for being a member of congress by having a mental illness.

"Mental illness"---

Must be genetic. I could swear his father has exactly the same set of symptoms...

The next time I get pulled over, I think I'll identify myself as a Kennedy or an illegal alien.
Ought to be good for a laugh, at least.
Or not.
I've got to learn Spanish.

Crown Victoria? You've got to be kidding.

You think he'd set a better example as a leading left-wing democrat and drive an SUV like John Kerry-Heinz or take a Lear jet everywhere he goes like Algore.

As an aside--wonder how much energy legislation he's help block while being in a drug induced democrat stupor?

One thing that bothers me about these guys; they can afford a full time driver, how come they always drive themselves?

Oh...one less witness to their behavior!

I'll add to this, snugs, that people like Kennedy have no shame by allowing America to look like a fool with this type of behavior from an alleged 'leader'.

This was a minor, blink-and-you'd miss it, item in the ProJo (Providence Journal-Bulletin) but someone spotted it and alerted Howie Carr to it awhile after it happened--was mentioned in his column and radio show. A link below will take you to a Mark Levin interview with Howie about it:

He also admitted that his March 2000 assault on a security guard at Los Angeles International Airport was because of his "mental illness," drinking and drug abuse.

Just your run of the mill Democrat Congressman. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The Portsmouth police report said Kennedy "appeared normal."

Doesn't say much for the average Portsmouthian, if that's the case.

So who filled that out? Kennedy himself??? Or is Portsmouth police penmanship kaput?
