EASTON, PA | A 33-year-old Easton man, (illegal alien) accused of raping an 8-year-old girl last April, waived all charges to court Thursday with the understanding he will plead guilty to two offenses and have the MORE SERIOUS CHARGES WITHDRAWN.
Francisco Rodriguez of the 100 block of North Second Street is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children.
Rodriguez, clad in an orange jumpsuit and flanked by his attorney, David Vaida, and a translator Thursday, agreed to waive his preliminary hearing. Assistant District Attorney Pat Broscius said he will plead guilty to aggravated indecent assault and statutory sexual assault. All other charges will be withdrawn, Broscius said.
Police said Rodriguez, an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT, was alone with the girl on April 4, 2005. The girl's mother told police she found Rodriguez in a bedroom wearing only his underwear. The girl's clothing was on the bedroom floor, according to court documents.
Rodriguez allegedly refused to allow the mother into the closet area where the child's bedroom was located. The girl told her mother Rodriguez had touched her genitals and had sex with her, according to court papers.
Police said Rodriguez fled to Newark and was returned to the county for a bench warrant hearing in mid-February.

With that aside, this illegal alien will probably get less time than some perv who just looked at similar pictures on the Internet. Kind of like that Deputy Press Secretary for Homeland Security: He is being railroaded as a sick pervert (which he is) and will do plenty of time behind bars (which he deserves) because he mailed a pornographic video to who he thought was a 14 year old girl. Then, you have these female teachers that not only show pornography to 14 year old boys, but actually have sex with them and they get minimal sentences for their crimes. Our institutions are seem to favor women and "undocumented citizens."

While I agree with your sentiments about illegals, in this case it just adds insult to injury. Anyone who does this to a child deserves no special consideration. Unfortunately, it happens all the time. If these perps even see the inside of a courtroom, they pretty much invariably get radically reduced sentences, and sometimes get off off with no prison time at all, by pleading to lesser charges. You'd be amazed how often they aren't even charged, despite plenty of evidence, because "these cases are too difficult to prosecute" and children don't make good witnesses."
Hi Nic. See my last post. But then, you've heard me rant about this perverted scum before. Our system is screwed up and there is no will to fix the real problems. Bottom line.
I'm still frosted about this last incident where the perp confessed, in detail, what he did to this little 6 year old girl. She was even fully prepared to testify against him. Took months of advocating for the child and hounding the prosecutor to even get him charged. Then he still was allowed to plea to lesser charges with reduced jail time. He'll probably be out in 2 years and perping on children again. And during the time leading up to and immediately following his conviction, there was not one word in the local paper about it. Meanwhile, there were three headline stories about the couple that were charged with animal cruelty and failed to show up for court.
At least they're IN jails.

Yes. And there's no money in it. They like the nice and easy, businesss as usual, approach. I can't speak for other places, but the buffoons who are in charge here probably wouldn't have the first clue how to even conduct a trial.

I believe that we're already in a "cold" civil war. It was getting hotter by the day but illegal alien demonstrations put in the fuel and forced a majority of Americans to wake up.
Through our history, the results of waking up the sleeping giant are well known.
Children aren't valued by our society. It's evident with the light sentences of adults who abuse them, rape them, kill them. It's disgusting.
The fact that an illegal alien is offered plea bargains is probably a fact that most people don't know about.
I spoke with a Republican at a 50th wedding anniversary party today, and he was fed up about the border situation. He really vented.
