"Capitol police officers stopped Kennedy after he hit the barricade..."
Question: Don't these cops have that stainless steel chain with the sharp triangular knives on them that can be yanked across the road? Those blades will flatten any tire that goes over them immediately. Why did he get so far as to hit something?

The only way this thing could really, really blow up is if we found out that there was a woman with him in the car and he was exhibiting his nasty temper.
Is he in the habit of driving around at 3 AM...especially after she tried to make him stay home??
The drugs, booze....Hey, that's nothing for this family...It's the woman thing that causes the problems...like Mary Jo!!

Whoever she is, she won't be a mystery for long."Daddy, may God bless Saint Oldsmobile; there MUST be a bridge in Rhode Island."

A little bit OT- but I just found another great quote from the hypocrite:
"When the Founders wrote the Constitution and gave the Senate the power of advice and consent on Presidential nominations, they never intended the Senate to work against the President, as this Senate is doing, by engaging in a wholesale stall and refusing to act on large numbers of the Presidents nominees."

BULL BULL BULL....His problem is he keeps talking. He didn't know he TOOK the medication. He keeps wanting us to buy things and then gets stupider about it. People might buy he didn't remember getting in the car, but not remembering TAKING the medication? Please. Every alcoholic, at one time or another, and I say this from personal experience...BLAMES a bad medication combination for their bad alcoholic behavior. He can go to as many rehabs as he wants, but until he's honest, it won't do a damn thing.

ROTFL........that says (ahem) a lot. Still can't understand why the dumb cops never found "Bruce" ----wearing black lace undies----in Patty's trunk.

He has a nasty temper as shown in the video where he physically assaults the black female security check guard. Wonder if he has any assault charges or written any big checks to miscellaneous women. (The Kennedy's probably have a Corporate fund for this one.)
Was this "accident" road rage?? It seems like the one a couple of weeks ago indicates that one as possibly being road rage.

Unmarried is forgivable but "lawmaker", whoa!

I say give him a chance. He went into rehab for a reason. He wants a clear mind and a lighter heart. There is a reason he was known as the dumbest member of the Family. Now we know why.
Rush got addicted to opiate drugs because of his 3 bad spinal disks. I almost did also. It is so very easy to slide into when you are not paying attention. There are powerful, non-addictive drugs that solve the original problem.
Judge him after he becomes healthy.

According to the CDC website:
Gastroenteritis means inflammation of the stomach and small and large intestines. Viral gastroenteritis is an infection caused by a variety of viruses that results in vomiting or diarrhea. It is often called the "stomach flu," although it is not caused by the influenza viruses.
...viral gastroenteritis is contagious.
...Viral gastroenteritis outbreaks can occur in institutional settings, such as schools, child care facilities, and nursing homes, and can occur in other group settings, such as banquet halls, cruise ships, dormitories, and campgrounds.
With a contagious disease, he probably shouldn't have been going to Congressional meetings.

No one seems to question some things here -- like he says he cannot remember anything about the incident and he also says he didn't ask for special treatment from the Capital Police -- if he has no memory of the incident how does he KNOW he didn't ask for special treatment?

I was thinking the same thing: Rehab at 19 for cocaine abuse, in rehab at least twice since then, admitted in one of his comments that he has always been a binge drinker -- and this blackout screams binge drinking to my mind... if someone knows he/she is a binge drinker they would stay far, far away from alcohol.
Don't forget, not only is his father a heavy drinker, his mother has been a non-recovered alcoholic for many, many years... and if memory serves me correct, one of her sons (I think it was Patrick) was just given control over her because of her latest drinking episode.

This Ambien stuff is worse than we thought. It starts working before you even take it. The manufacturer of Ambien ought to sue Kennedy for Slander.

I saw this a few weeks ago -- sickening to think someone with so much talen and so much going for her has sunk to this low (I hear she went to rehab in Phoenix a few weeks ago -- did she stay this time?).
In her case, I don't see how her child stands a chance of turning out 'normal' with her parents history.

"..but does the article actually say what she tried to stop him from doing?"
Perhaps hitting her? Isn't he the Kennedy who owns the yacht upon which his girlfriend was beaten and the Coast Guard was called in to rescue her?
The Kennedy Legacy on Environmentalism: yachts, private airplanes, mansions and no windmills.
The Kennedy Legacy on Feminism: so many abused, alcoholic, raped, women, even a murdered woman, so little time to name them all.
