What's up with WalMart?

What's up with Walmart. I just came back from getting groceries there and when I got to up to the checkout area there was a large rack of caps on display and each one had a symbol of Mexico...flag, insignia, emblems etc... I was also entertained by a blaring PA system playing Tejano too, just like every Saturday morning that I go there to get groceries.

I guess that Walmart wanted to sell out Americans to make money on Cinco De Mayo celebrations...the one that Mexicans celebrate here in America with more gusto than the 4th of July.

I have come to the conclusion that we are way past a tipping point and that the Mexican invasion has been successful. Now all that they have to do is complete the victory by breeding themselves into absolute majority by having free babies using our tax dollars.

St. Patrick's day is about celebrating the life of a Saint. That's a joke, right? Maybe in your mass but not in the bars and parties where most celebrate the day. There, people who are not even Catholic "celebrate" St. Patrick's day by drinking themselves unconscious while wearing green and singing Irish songs.

Saint Patrick was the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland who is credited with bringing christianity to Ireland. That is the reason we celebrate his life. Church is the proper place to do so, getting plastered into uncousiousness is an excuse to abuse alcohol. Many highway deaths occur when these partiers hit the highway. Ignorance is no excuse for poor behavior.

This is only a recent phenomenon do to pandering by retailers. Like they do at Easter, Christmas, and other so called Holidays. So must I celebrate this Mexican holiday? No one is forcing you to celebrate Cinco de Mayo any more than any one is forcing you to celebrate Christmas. If you dont want any of the goods related to Cinco de Mayo, dont buy any. Seems fair and simple to me. And if you are offended by Mexican music one day a year, then shut your mouth when others complain about being bombarded with Christmas music. What a hypocrite.

Our borders are flooded with illegals who violate our laws, and commit murder, rape, robbery, and many more violent offenses, then they run back to Mexico before being caught. Celebrating their cultural as they flagrantly impune the sovrienty of our nation is not something I am willing to do. Comparing Easter and Christmas, which, like St. Patrick's day is a religious observance to Cinco de Mayo is just plain ignorant.

Are you going to boycott all the AMERICAN farms, and meat packers, like Tyson, that use Mexican labor. That would make more sense them boycotting some Mexican product, or a Mexican business that is run by a naturalized citizen.

He's a miserable taskmaster and a tyrant...............and he lives well over 1,000 miles away from me!!!!!!!!

But I have gotten some fencing up to keep the dog out of my herb garden and next is to get trellissing up for my beans and cukes........But I had to wait for my husband to get home from the Little League game because I can't handle the 50 feet of trellis on my own.......he's eating lunch now and then we will go do that. Then we are going to paint windows, and then I've got to leave to go to work.

Thankfully tomorrow is Sunday and i only have to worry about getting the child ready for church, cooking, laundry and the gardening :)

My favorite Mexican restaurant is owned and operated by a naturalized citizen. He came to this country legally more than 30 years ago and worked his way up to chef in NYC restaurants owned by the person who sponsored him to come here. He despises the illegals.

The promotion of Cinco de Mayo is part of the cultural assault on traditional American society, to help ease us into our multicultural/Hispanic/South American future, business is more than happy to try and make a buck on it. Business is amoral, at best. Business doesn't lead these trends but for the most part truckles to the beliefs of authority because that is the path of least resistance. Business internationalism follows political internationalism, not vice versa.

I have decided to take my money to local small businesses for MY OWN reasons. Simply because the majority of you disagree will not convince me that buying loads of low-quality crap NOW will somehow be better than saving and buying higher quality products from local merchants. I was taught that spending MY money should always be conscious effort. I CHOOSE to know where my money is going and if that means helping to fund "Pa's" kids college education, more the better.

Incidentally, I don't point crooked fingers and make nasty insinuations about someone's intelligence because they choose to shop at a retailer whose business practices, while incredibly successful, I PERSONALLY find distasteful.

But then again, I probably understand better than most the ability to exercise said rights. My husband will get a chuckle out of the fact that he goes to Afghanistan leaving a rather conservative wife to return home to a tree hugging, economically inept isolationist. It's gratifying to see Americans exercising the rights he and his Brethren provide you... AND ME!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
