This Kennedy thing could not have gone better for the GOP if Karl Rove had planned it (and I'm not sure he didn't!)
A Kennedy would never actually do any jail time, even if he was caught killing his secretary. Far better than jail time is the public KNOWING that another Kennedy is a pathetic drunk, and that the Dims are STILL the party of criminals who use privilege and power to escape responsibility!

"At no time before the incident did I consume any alcohol." But how can he be sure because in the most recent version he said he does not remember anything of last night or the crash?

Pardon me for thinking that the makers of that stupid drug whatever it is...have not recently contributed enough to the Democrat National Party money collectors.

A NEW local cop gave one of our eminent judges a ticket. When the cop returned to his office, his boss lit into him.
The cop felt so bad that he called the judges house and told the judges wife: "I'm really sorry about the ticket the other night. I remember how upset you were". "What ticket?", said the wife. Seems the eminent judge was with a "companion" and not his wife. Don'tcha love it!!

Some day the voters in New England will tire of the immature 'antics' of the Kennedy clan. Then and only then will they become unelectable. I hope some day comes sooner rather than later. Happily, this time, there was no Mary Jo in the car.

A Dr. on Fox notes there has been 20 billion 'ambien sleep nights' (combined consumption) and about 99 cases of sleep walking / driving as described by the Kennedy punk.
Also the drugs vs. booze aside, I think he made a mistaking in claiming he didn't remember getting out of bed and driving. The 'getting out of bed' claim can and most likely will be refuted by someone seeing him in the bar at 2:00 am.
Can't have it both ways - out-of-bed to cast a vote, vs. in the Hawk and Dove drinking.

Me thinks there is a little hypocrisy going on here. When was the last time anyone heard of a cop getting arrested for DWI? Or speeding?

"There was ample evidence to arrest Ms. McKinney and it appears an investigation should have occurred in [the Kennedy incident]." Pasco said. "This is not a way to run a police department."That's no way to run a police department. No it's not, but look how Congress is run.

Kennedy lied to the cops when he said he was going to a vote. Isn't that a crime & an abuse of congressional privelege.
Isn't driving under the influence of perscription meds a crime?
My guess is he paid his bar tabs with a credit card, so a paper trail is there to make a lie of the Ambien story. And his cell phone records would refute the "at home in bed" BS.
My mom used to say, "if you tell one lie, you have to tell 10 more to get out of it".
This should be fun to watch! All the way to November!
