CNN reports Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) will hold a press conference today at 3 p.m. in Washington, D.C. to discuss his recent traffic incident on Capitol Hill.
What good did healthcare do him? ;)
*Hiccup*
*BURRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPP!*
"taking full responsibility" means he gave the speech...but then hides in a clinic until all the dust settles...
OH, my Joe Scarborough on now...saying Patrick came into Congress the same year as he did...and saying what a great guy he is...
Joe says that Patrick has had a "very difficult life"...gag..
All they need to figure this out is:
What was he wearing in the House the previous night, and what was he wearing when he wrecked?
If he was, ahem, "sleep driving", he surely wouldn't have put the same clothes back on would he? Tie and everything?
That said, I have familial and personal experience with addictions, and I hope he gets the help he needs, and actually makes it work this time. If for nothing else, then for his personal relationships.
But attempting to make it about healthcare is just pitiful.
As a member of the house, yes, as are they all.
Scarborough, don't go there.
Well, he's heading back to Mayo, where he was at Christmas, and we see how well that worked out for him, huh?
Joe Scarborough is shameless.
This clown, Patches Kennedy, is lucky he did this in Washington, D.C., USA and not in any other capital city in the world.
Driving erratically, at 3 a.m., with no lights, at a high rate of speed into a barrier meant to protect the Capitol. How would the police anywhere else have reacted? Probably with automatic weapons fire to stop a potential terrorist attack.
I wonder if he dad leant him a slightly used neck brace left over from Chappaquidick to wear.
Teddy Jr's wife is a physician.
I think a tear is almost ready to slowly roll down my cheek...
not sure .. just mentioned a waitress, a reporter and some others that were being interviewed to piece this together
That Patches was seen at 2 different restaurants/bars
They are saying he was taking Phenergran for gastroenteritis...
I know one thing...drinking alcohol if you have gastroenteritis is NOT good..and phenergran isn't gonna help with a belly full>>
This is just so much BS!
If they did that, his Rush defense would be thrown out the window. You see, it was abdominal and sleep medicine first, but that balloon didn't fly.
Then, it was depression medicine, but that dog didn't hunt well either.
AH HAH! Use the Rush defense, the pain killers (Why was he in pain, anyway?) and the right wing can't touch him. That's it!!!
It took 'ol Ted 24 hours to find the "right" excuse to pull this one off!!!
Scarborough is kissing Patches' butt big time.
I require pain meds to listen to Shep.
The real story here is who intervened and how.
He had the farts..
The only thing Shep is expert at is moving violations while under the influence ...
