The Iranian navy tactic will be to attack with a swarm of small boats that will present so many targets that some are bound to get through or close enough to do some damage.

All that will be subtrafuge for the main attack that will come by relatively quiet minisubs. Their noise will be masked by all the small boats.

if the small boats do mass, use a naval tactical nuke. Solves the problem of multiple targets in a hurry.
