NEW YORK — President Bush’s job approval rating inches up to 38 percent this week, a slight increase from last month, according to the latest FOX News Poll. A 53 percent majority of Americans disapproves of the president’s job performance. Even fewer Americans approve of the job Democrats and Republicans in Congress are doing, and over half say they are either extremely or very interested in the upcoming midterm election.

If the Republicans in the Senate come to their senses about the fence, we may be able to turn it around. The fence is not only the right thing to do, it's a winning political issue. As many or more Democrats are in favor of the fence as Republicans. The fence and judicial nominations are the keys.

I think in the end we will get the fence but I still also believe there will be a "guest worker" amnesty plan so we'll probably just get half of what is needed or not.

Without going into current issues the Bush Admin needs to combat some of the old lies from the left.
- "Only the rich got tax cuts!"
- "The economy is a disaster!"
- "We are losing in Iraq!"
That would be a start.
Gas prices are still very high, but at least now they're relatively stable, and not increasing by 5 or 10 cents per gallon per day with no end in sight. That may have something to do with it.
Oh, the 41% approval rating will be the new "all-time" low. Never mind the approval ratings in the 30's. The L/MSM has to constantly hammer that "low approval rating" image home to their audience.
And don't forget the biggest Leftie lie:

OR, the L/MSM will harp on the 41%, saying that it would be EVEN HIGHER if Bush had only listened to those six generals and fired Rummy. OR if Bush would get rid of Rove.
