ATLANTA - Anti-war protesters repeatedly interrupted Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld during a speech Thursday, and one of them, a former CIA analyst, accused him in a question-and-answer session of lying about Iraq prewar intelligence.

More traitors in the CIA. The KGB never had this problem.
There should be no such thing as ex-CIA
The agent was named McGovern.
You can't make this stuff up.
Can anyone post the picture from the article? I'm just wondering who is the absolute dish in front of Rummy?
Not much about Rumsfelds response. But that is not important.
Ray McGovern is one of the perfidious VIPs--he asked for leaks within the agency and was in the anti-war film staring Wilson and Beers paid for by MoveOn and used for Kerry. He also appeared with Wilson at the June 14, 2003 EPIC speech where Wilson outed himself.
How can this be? Can't we simply arrest them, as we did that FG woman? /sarc
Good point! If I ever see a journalist doing a story on an anti-war protest I will interrupt, asking pointed questions about pro-socialist bias in the media. I'll also demand to know when the reporter is going to resign.
Ray McGovern and his buddy, the moronic Larry Johnson, are the two founders of VIPS and have been openly encouraging the leaking of classified documents to take down the elected administration. They are in deep with Dana Priest's husband who runs the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where Mary McCarthy was a "visiting fellow".
These are the two guys that the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Drive-by media pull out of the bag each time there is an article involving Valerie Plame, Joe Wilson, or Mary McCarthy. And they never, ever tell you the background of these two rabidly anti-Bush assholes.
The media's corruption is full and complete when these two are given a voice without an explanation of their vicious partisan motives. They, and the media, are all lying scum.
Ray McGovern and Larry Johnson are seditionists and traitors. They deserve jail-time, not air-time,

In the article, it says that Rumsfeld responded by saying "I didn't lie", before the protestor was pulled out by security.
Also, his work in the CIA was also used to come to the conclusion that Iraq had WMD in the first place, so I would assume that at one point, he believed that Iraq did have these weapons.
Certainly a valid question though, just not posed very well. Rumsfeld did make the claim that the US government knew where the stockpiles of weapons were located back in 2003. We have yet to find these weapons.
All in all, wrong time, wrong place. But still a question that deserves to be answered.
Well, the KGB took pretty drastic action, like banishment to a Siberian prison, death, etc.
No, there is no reason to believe Rumsfeld lied, the question has been asked and answered dozens of times, and welcome to Free Republic.
If Rumsfeld lied, then everyone lied even France and Germany. You would think these Bush Bashers would find some new phrase as this lie about WMD wont fly anymore. Weaponry comes in many guises; Biological Warfare was Saddams big winner. Stashes of conventional weaponry have been found in many places I do wish this myth could be put to death
..
There should, but that status should be reserved for gravestones.
