"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "The show show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
I saw it on Friday with my husband and older son. It was great.
I was expecting to be weepy, but instead was just seriously annoyed and angry.
I wish they hadn't cast such a pretty boy as the lead terrorist.
I was also struck by the feeling that we knew more via television than the FAA and military knew via 'official channels.' But my son pointed out that military and gov't agencies have to follow protocols, while tv was free to wildly speculate....

I saw the A&E version of Flight 93 and at the end of it my wife will testify that I was so mad that I was red faced and wanted to go out at 57 and take a few of them out myself...I can only imagine how this is going to hit me. My wife may bring home a copy from Thailand...
I think this trial, and its results, are a great example of WHY they should not be tried in a public arena.

Just one more thing to worry about. I get so frustrated with conservatives who say they are going to vote third party. They should take out their anger in the primary elections. If their guy wins, fine. If not, vote for the bleeping republican in November anyway. What the bleep are they trying to prove by playing these noble games? Republicans and conservatives who wanted to teach Bush 41 a lesson gave us Clinton. If they want another 8 years of idiocy then they should cut their noses to spite their faces. Unfortunately, we get mutilated in the process.

You are quite right. Unfortunately the public's knowledge of science is so abysmal that the DUmmies can paint it like "Blame Bush for your lack of anti-cancer drugs", "Bush wants you to die" etc. We have to be on the ATTACK. I'm glad Tony is there, but he can only do so much.
I agree that this never should have been in the US courts. Was that a holdover from Clinton processes?
All of this stuff should be at Gitmo. Seeing as how these 'soldiers' aren't regular army, it seems to me that following Geneva conventions (POW status for captured combatants) is mighty benevolent on our part.
Giving them US Constitutional protections is way beyond what is necessary. (Do you hear this, illegal aliens???)
