Are you sure? Check your premises.........
Mexicans tend to be conservative in those areas. I doubt even California could permanently change that.

Time to either leave the state, put your kids in a private school that will respect morality or homeschool.
The city of San Fransisco is already becoming a child-free zone because parents who are revolted by what goes on there are fleeing for the sake of their children.

If they were willing to break the law to come here, of what use are any laws that now exist or will be created by those who broke them in the first act of arrival?.........

"If this bill is actually passed, it's time for a mass exodus from CA. It's on the threshold of societal collapse."
Just my opinion, but it was time for that a long, long time ago.

More of the homosexual agenda.
Taking away MOM and DAD from all the textbooks won't ease her pain of being an abyssmally abnormal homosexual.
There IS NO "sexual diversity and she knows it but is going to try her hardest to normalize one of nature's most egregious error.
It won't work any more than the rest of her efforts did.

Many cultures/societies are ruled by their customs and not by the written laws. It makes them immune to the crazy experiments and to follow natural instincts.

If they become citizens they will be able to vote and unless Mexicans in California are radically different from Mexicans in Texas they won't go for the ultra-liberal crap that goes against their upbringing in a major way.

Those societies are a primitive and vile cesspool of corrupt beauracracies. They bring regression and not advancement. California will spiral slowly like a condor into the carrion of third world fly covered despair and social collapse.......

A bill requiring students to learn about the contributions homosexuals have made to society and ... The unit on AIDS will take a month, at least.

One unfortunate fallout from this lunacy is that the textbook publishers do not write a host of different books. This will impact many other states as well.

California is NOT Texas. The political climate of Texas reinforces the new arrivals foundation of conservative values. The political climate of Kalifornia erodes that same foundation. Steady and sure, like Big Muddy, the new arrivals' values in The Golden State will be worn down by the abrasive nature of liberalism..........

That is why I put in the disclaimer about possible differences in the Mexicans in the two states. When it comes to California left is right and up is down. :)

A bill requiring students to learn about the contributions homosexuals have made to society and that would remove sex-specific terms such as "mom" and "dad" from textbooks has passed another hurdle on the way to becoming the law of the land in California. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

Why not a coalition of red states comming together to say, PC text books will not be purchased.
Or even adopt a set of model principles which must be adheared for acceptable textbooks.
A coalition of 4 or 5states would out number any stupidity of Kaleefoneea.

If California goes to queer textbooks, the entire country will get stuck with them also.
They won't print separate books for normal parts of the country.
