May 3, 2006 -- WASHINGTON - Congress was abuzz yesterday over a shocking investigation of lawmakers that involves a top spy, limos, and hookers. Federal prosecutors are investigating whether contractors provided rogue former Rep. Randall "Duke" Cunningham with prostitutes as part of a bribery scandal that landed the lawmaker in the slammer.
At issue is whether two government contractors gave Cunningham free limousine service and lined up hookers for sex trysts in Washington's Watergate Hotel.
"The guy's certainly a scumbag - this is just more proof of that," said one House Republican aide.
The brewing scandal took a new turn yesterday, as the CIA's inspector general said the office opened an investigation into the CIA's No. 3 official, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo.
As the spy agency's executive director, Foggo oversees millions in government contracts.
Investigators are looking into whether any other members of Congress or their staffs took limo rides and hotel visits with hookers.

Back to political basics .....???????
Seriously. I can't believe there are still people out there who would be shocked that some politicians are dirtbags.
......be sure your sins will find you out

So sad and unnecessary. He was a great patriot and pilot. Does anything good ever happen in places named Watergate?
This sounds like another one of those Democrat led investigations that will come back to bite them.
The media and the liberals will use this as a smokescreen to get the illegal alien issue off the tube.
The CIA inspector general has opened an investigation into the spy agency's executive director, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, and his connections to two defense contractors accused of bribing a member of Congress and Pentagon officials.
The CIA released an official statement on the matter to ABC News, saying: "It is standard practice for CIA's Office of Inspector General an aggressive, independent watchdog to look into assertions that mention agency officers. That should in no way be seen as lending credibility to any allegation.
"Mr. Foggo has overseen many contracts in his decades of public service. He reaffirms that they were properly awarded and administered."
The CIA said Foggo, the No. 3 official at the CIA, would have no further comment. He will remain in his post at the CIA during the investigation, according to officials.
Two former CIA officials told ABC News that Foggo oversaw contracts involving at least one of the companies accused of paying bribes to Congressman Randall "Duke" Cunningham. The story was first reported by Newsweek magazine.

Does anything good happen at The Watergate? Yes, Condi Rice lives there.
And I think the Doles live there too.
This is hardly surprising. Our current Washington lawmakers are incapable of rational behavior. They all need to go on both sides of the aisle.
That's for sure. Really working hard for us, aren't they?
Pilot maybe, but he started trying to line his pockets even before he left the Navy. It was on a smaller scale, but if he hadn't been "Duke" somebody would have taken him down for his antics.
The guy is patently dishonest, and sold out America's military to the highest bidding briber.
We haven't had a good sex scandal in , what, 6 years? (who was that?). We are over due.....
"Business as usual in Sodom on the Potomac"
I'd say that sums up the atmosphere there, for sure.
And BTW, looks like "Duke" not only had feet of clay but also ankles and legs. There but for the Grace of God and all that. We thank Cunningham for his Vietnam service but still hold him accountable for his actions after coming home. Kerry and McLame take note.
