wonderful pictures & love the piglet video! here we have "petting zoos", that are about the same thing..

Eleanor, when I lived in NC, I bought a home & it came with a peacock. The owner told me they are territorial & would not leave.. or would return to the home. I thought it was pretty neat to have a peacock in the yard to greet guests!

Funny thing, the cats were frightened to death of it. We sold the home a few years later to get one that was larger & with more land(this one only had 7 acres) & the new owners also inherited a peacock.

This centre is more than a petting zoo it consists mainly of rare breeds plus a lot of the staff are mentally handicapped and is therefore a registered charity.
