Comments a University of Minnesota instructor made at Monday’s immigration day rally are causing controversy about what is and is not considered racist.
Susana De Leon, an activist and part-time instructor of Mexican-American studies, was involved in a verbal confrontation at the rally in Owatonna.
"Yes, people from Europe are wet backs man... their backs so wet because they had to cross an ocean to get here,” De Leon said at the rally

What do you study in "Mexican American studies?" What kind of job do you get with such a degree? Do you want your tacos soft or crispy?
Just as "Hate" crimes can only occur when it is white people attacking blacks (a very, very small percentage of interracial crimes commited) and heterosexual crimes or thought crimes committed against homosexuals.
The highest crime rates are black on black; the next largest - black on white at the bottom of the pile is white on black.
The highest abuse crimes in the homosexual community are lesbian on lesbian; followed by gay male on gay male; then there are the homosexual on hetrosexual children and near the absolute bottom of that pile are the rare hetrosexual on homosexual.
It's just that the media is so very tilted in it's coverage on issues of race and sex. They have their biases and cover stories exactly as their beliefs dictate.

A few yrs back during a discussion,a co-worker who owns some rental property told me she would not rent to hispanics.When i informed her that was racist AND illegal she promptly and very self righteously explained to me that as an "oppressed minority"she could not be racist.
It is the spike lee school of racism.
