Fox News said this morning that the boycott was a bust. I guess the illegals aren't happy to hear this.

I'm done patronizing Mexican restaurants. They all hire illegals.

If there are 12 million illegals (probably a low estimate) and 1 million people showed up for demonstrations (probably high) and if every one of them was an illegal (not likely), that means at least 11 million illegals said "Screw it, I need money today more than a march". Not exactly a stunning turnout.

...the boycott was a bust. I think they need to keep trying until they get it right, say, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Illegal immigrants and their supporters vowed to keep up the pressure on Congress for reforms after more than 1 million people stepped out of the shadows and poured into the streets in a nationwide show of economic clout."
Did something happen yesterday that I missed?
My life went on yesterday pretty much as it always has.

We have one Mexican restaurant here that I will patronize -- they don't hire illegals per their sign of what is required for employment. They were doing a thriving business yesterday too -- some of the others that hire them were not crowded at all and I will NEVER go back to one of them.

You are a criminal. One that got away with it for a long time.

They going to need to extend their "Boycott Momentum" because if yesterday was the best that they have in their political arsenal, then all I can say is "Standby for heavy rolls while coming about!"
American is out of patience amd that slowly building backlash is guaranteed to sink not only their little movement, but all those politicians and businesses that support it as well.

This whole idea was doomed from the start. I mean, if they could stay home they wouldn't be here, would they?

I've got two within a mile of my house, they both remained open yesterday.

About 35 to 40 anti-immigration demonstrators got into shouting matches with pro-immigration marchers as they were leaving a Denver park. Among them were Ron and Marge Mason of Thornton, a Denver suburb. "We're tired of seeing the illegals coming in," Ron Mason said. No bias here...
And, who in their right mind hires someone who is in the country illegally to watch their kids???

It was soooo blissfully quiet without them here in Houston. The Stop & Go was quiet, no greasy laborers. The traffic was good. This morning a dump truck cut me off, Sanchez Trucking, and I thought, they're back.
Only inconvenience was no janitors.
To: chs68
I didn't notice a thing here (unfortunately, I would have loved to have less traffic). Of course, the traffic has been thinning the past week or so, but that's the snowbirds going home.

1 million people stepped out of the shadows and poured into the streetsmarchers held U.S. flags aloft and sang the national anthem in English
Pure propaganda swill.
But it doesn't matter ... the MSM no longer controls the news ... and this demonstration strategy is backfiring bigtime.
