You are 100% correct. Every time the powers that be want to pump up a cause, the first thing they do is use nice inaccurate words to describe the participants. The best word I've heard for them is your CRIMMIGRANTS. Actually, seems to me "illegal immigrants" is the ultimate oxymoron. They can't be both.
Are there no other "illegals" in this country who will be screaming for amnesty if the Mexicans get it. Where will the line be drawn. I profoundly suggest it be drawn now, before the huge mistake is made. My citizenship means nothing if illegals are given citizenship and I'm ticked as hell about that.
