Reports of Immigration Related Unrest in Vista, California (northern SD county) Breaking News
San Diego Fox 6 Alert
Posted on 05/01/2006 10:02:55 PM PDT by mfccinsd
I've never posted a new thread before and was going to put this with Santa Ana but now there are details so I think it needs it's own thread.
Reports for help from all police to respond to Vista, California for unrest related to the immigration protests.
I'd been hearing sirens racing north on 15 for over the last 50 minutes and was trying to find out what was going on, as after hearing and seeing groups of 2-6 patrol cars racing up the freeway sirens wailing every 4-8 minutes made it apparent something was going on.

Is it easier watching from a distance? I keep thinking that if I become a hermit in the hills of West Virginia, I could pretend that everything is normal and live ignorantly happily ever after.

The cops are getting ready to move now with canine units to disperse the crowd. This is exciting.

" Makes you wonder if anytown USA was under martial law if MsM would report that?!"
It sure does. If it wasn't for this thread, all I would know is theres a thunderstorm going on, here in Indy.
They are all avoiding reporting the true Storm in this country.

Did you see the report about the vehicle that was going the wrong way across the San Diego border and ended up crashing? 55 people 'immigrating' were caught and will be deported, but only because they crashed the van. If they hadn't been in the accident, they'd be marching and living happily ever after, I suppose.

Told you something was going on in Seattle.

why doesn't my senator John McCain think of that? I'm still hoping for that 50 an hour lettuce job, better pay than teaching and you wouldn't have to put up with the pc garbage

More than one person was struck but police spokeswoman Debra Brown said she did not have a precise number. The injuries were minor, she said, adding police did not know whether the collision was accidental or intentional. Police arrested the driver. Demonstrators surrounded the car and started beating on the vehicle after it hit the marchers, she added." The Mecha goons have been known to attack little old ladies in their cars.

I was needing to hit some places off of E Valley Pkwy this afternoon and I opted not to thinking it might not be the wisest choice, and knowing I stand out like a sore thumb in many of those places anyway ...then when I had to deal with a computer thing it wasn't an option anyway. Probably a good thing.
Two threads of events in one day to cover from the 'front row' would have been a bit much :-) LOL

Don't worry. I bet half of them will be able to make it back in for any Cinco de mayo protests.
