MISSION VIEJO - Sandra Sweet was 8 the last time she did anything political in public. She thinks.
She has this vague memory of being a little girl when her father took her to a political rally in Washington, D.C., that involved the Vietnam War and something about "a march for victory."
So it's surprising that Sweet, 45, is organizing a "pro-American" rally in Santa Ana on Monday to counter what some are calling "the Great American Boycott." Armed with her e-mail address book and a sense of alarm Sweet is taking the first political action of her adult life.

The vatos have been led by some bad people into a series of colossal miscalculations.
Why do they think that giving the finger to the country that has (up to now) accepted them will help their cause?
The more they "flex their numbers", the more America realizes our problem and its associated costs.
The end is nigh for illegals in such unbounded numbers. JMHO

"It is currently a federal criminal offense under U.S. "antiboycott laws" for any U.S. person to participate in another nation's boycotts or embargoes of third countries."
So gee what would the illegal aliens fall under U.S. person or foreign national, and what about the nmexicans who are BOYCOTTING in support of all the illegal alien foreign nationals???
"embargoes of 3rd countries"? Most of the products are made in 3rd countries.

But, how about this idea? The only real thing those crooks in Washington understand is MONEY! Am I right? So on Monday every working legal American should change the number of their dependents to 99 their W2 form. This would mean that almost no money would be taken out of our checks for Federal taxes and thus the flow of cash to the Federal Government would STOP! This is not illegal. Just put the money that would have gone to the Fed's in the bank and use it to pay your taxes next April 07! There would be a small additional fine but if enough people participate that might even be eliminated.
I predict that it would not take very long for change to happen with our "fearless" lawmakers!

I'll counter by working a full 8 hours like every work day, buying my morning coffee and paper at a local eatery. May even do something extremely rare eat breakfast there instead of having one of those Fat-Pills when I get to work.

I did a scan of our Sunday paper (DFW) and found that every article, every editorial, every column was very pro-immigration, pro-illegal. Much hand ringing and pulling of hair about what would happen to the restaurants, farms, construction companies if the illegals were forced to return home and how we would all suffer. Not one article that I found was against illegal immigration or called for border control.

Tell me how this will help though.I think most of this is coming from American Activists and little impact will be felt. If we fill Uncle Sam's coffers tomorrow, how does that get the attention of law makers that we want changes. Maybe, I'm looking at this wrong but to me their attitude will be "hurt me some more, why don't you".
I have something expensive I need (or want) to buy. I'm debating if I want to, tomorrow or not though.

Good for Sandra Sweet.
The 11,000,000 illegals DON'T vote. The voters hold the election of politicians, who make, enforce and judicate the laws.
Ramming unpatriotism down our throats does these pro-illegal immigrants NO good.
The Star Spangled Banner in SPANISH?! Absolutely, totally, 100% insulting, demeaning and unpatriotic.
Didn't a BRIT start this?

Where is the law? These people are breaking the law by being here without proper papers or authority. Round them up and have the buses ready to ship them back to Mexico. Or be like the Mexican government and put them in jail for 20 years or more if they will not go back to their rat infested country.

THey are running us out of a Walmart in my town in Georgia too. Luckily, we have an American governor (Sonny Perdue) who just signed a bill denying state benefits to illegals. It's a start - if gov't can deny, then so can privates- hospital emergency rooms may deny the illegal hang-nail sufferer...
And I hope this prevents them from driving on our roads and using state roads....
It's start...

I am still trying to figure out how this will worse than a usual Christmas day. On Christmas 90% of businesses close.
Illegals will have to purchase items either today or Tuesday, if they don't tomorrow.
