I agree with you that McInsane had no chance of getting the nomination even before this gaff. But you are wrong about Rudy -- he has NO chance with the base -- he's for: gun control, gay marriage, and abortion. Rudy cannot win in the primaries.

Since Allen is a beta (he will collapse under the glare of prime time, trust me), that means Romney. But I think Rudy is the one, if he runs. This site is something other than leading indicator of anything. But I admire Romney, and he is just as smart as Rudy. Both are the smartest of the pack in either party, going away. Sorry Hillary.
Sounds as if Romney is worse than Rudy, on the social issues, abortion, RKBA, Govt Medical, gay infestation.

Pay special attention on how he stands on the second amendment and gun ownership. I cannot back anyone that feels the way he does on this one issue alone.
Look at his answer on topic 10 ..Strongly Oppose means you believe: More guns mean more killing. Limit availability of guns by whatever means are effective. The 2nd amendment does not mean an unlimited right to any and all firearms.
