John Mccain "I'd rather have clean government than the 1st amendment"
RedState ^

Posted on 04/29/2006 8:04:53 PM PDT by SDGOP

"He [Michael Graham] also mentioned my abridgement of First Amendment rights, i.e. talking about campaign finance reform....I know that money corrupts....I would rather have a clean government than one where quote First Amendment rights are being respected, that has become corrupt. If I had my choice, I'd rather have the clean government."

Our problem is that the statesmen have all been replaced by politicians.

I went there and I didn't have any problem either. Don't know what you mean by anonymous visitor. Just click on the link and you will easily get the site to come up.

The Pubbie nominee will be either Romney or Allen.

Any chance for Tancredo?

So you do not know Rudy is for gun control, for the murder of unborn babies, for the destruction of real marriage and for the Government controlling all property.

But, you must admit that other than for the one trivial detail -- his running on the DNC platform -- he'd make a great GOP candidate!

(Do I really need to write "/sarcasm" in this post? Would "Vomit!" suffice?)

One is tempted to argue that American culture ia all about what NYC wrought

Well, it might be about what NYC was (a long time ago!) -- but it sure as hell ain't about what it IS now!

Dennis W. DeConcini (D-Ariz.) never did recover from his involvement in the KEating 5 - now its time to take out McLame.

Good graphic and I wouldn't doubt that a bit.

Romney has the best name recognition of the conservatives.

Even more people have heard of Fidel Castro! Shall we stump for him as a write-in candidate?

Is "name-recognition" the defining qualification for POTUS???

And I would rather have no John McCain. He is sneaking around trying to change the constitution.

Coke?

You missed the message

#1 - McRat - self explanatory - anti-web anti-FR

#2 - Budweiser - McRat's #2 wife's huge Bud dowry

#3 - Tequila - McRat's an OBL traitor to America

You might want to save this post -

I rarely resort to words as they are rarely effective or remembered in the endless blur of text -

"Our problem is that the statesmen have all been replaced by politicians."

And the only way we're going to get rid of "politicians" is to have term limits for both houses of Congress: two three-year terms for senators without the possibility of returning, and three two-year terms for representatives without the possibility of returning. and making all lobbying of any government employee illegal, and removing all pensions for all government elected officials.

To: Torie; the
Suggesting that Rudy is some Leftie, may have traction on this site

"i>Suggesting" that he's a leftie?

Argh...

The man is one letter away from being a shoo-in for nomination as the Democrat candidate! (That letter, of course, is "D"!)

He embodies all the key planks of the DNC platform, but, he wears an "R" on his sleeve -- so that makes him one of "us"?

What is this, major league sports, where "Team Loyalty" is all?

What the hell happened to principle? Where are all the statesmen -- men of conscience?

I have no idea where they are -- but I think it's a waste of time to look for them among the politicians these days. What a sad commentary. I do not see a very good future for us. Not good at all.

Your mind works in devious ways, I posted one part of the message without even knowing it....

The poster of the coke was going strictly by visuals.

No problem with that except it would require an amendment to our Constitution. I still believe that controlling his financing would control the man. Like Lyndon Johnson often stated, "If you have him by the n--- his heart and mind will follow."

By the way, I didn't vote for Lyndon either.

John Mccain "I'd rather have clean government than the 1st amendment"

I'd rather have Bill Clinton back in the white house than Juan McCain within smelling distance of the oval office.
