How do we hold our side accountable without empowering the dems? I think this question better expresses my position.

Look, I hate to break it to you, but when people cater to foreign nationals against your will, THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE.

I was a Republican supporter from my first vote in 1972 until the year 2000. I still wind up voting for them almost exclusively, so I think it's safe to say that I've viewed them as 'on my side' for a long time.

What you and I have to come to grips with is this. I have disliked the Democrats as long as I can remember. Their policies have been not only abysmal, but terribly destructive. Now I'm having to face the fact that for the first time in my life, the Republicans policies are also abysmal and equally destructive.

Yes, we can agree that certain policies are better than others. The War on Terrorism is a good example. I support that. When it comes to overspending, illegal immigration and betraying the chidren of our nation to the Marxist indoctrinators, we've got to come to grips with the fact the Republican party is as big an enemy as the rabid socialists. Both will wind up destroying our nation.
