People get so freaked out when I tell them. I almost never tell people in real life.

And at the time they were there is the San Diego area, my senile father kept going to the window and looking out and saying there were evil men out there.
He would try to show us that there was a M in the lights that was a sign of them.
I escorted my parents on their flight out of San Diego on August 29, 2001, to Texas where they went into an assisted living apartment.
On 9/11 I was in their home in El Cajon, alone, trying to finish some packing up, waiting to go pick up my brother and sister at the airport. Sis was coming in from Anchorage and Bro from Dallas.
Phone rang about 6 am. It was brother. "You missed your flight?" I asked.
He told me what was going on, that his plane wasn't allowed to take off and that an AA plane had been hijacked and flown into the WTC. I burst into tears. I had been fearing this since 1992, but once it came all I could do was cry and spend the next few days alone semi-catatonic.
My sister called to say her plane had been on the runway and had been turned around. She didn't know why. As I told her, she turned and told the other passengers near the phone.

I can write the book on Genetic Depression.
It is not only feeling depressed, it also anxiety, and irritation.
It takes more than a few weeks to the meds to start to work. Then there is the dossage amount balance.
If after a while That isn't working there are a number of other antidep. meds that can be tried.

Try one of the old ones, like Imipramine, if you haven't already.
That med saved a lot of people in its day.

You're so sweet. I've been on lots of different medications. I should try something else. I just get so disappointed every time I try something and it doesn't do anything.

Pressure, physical illness and up coming exams but it is normal and that is what you have to tell yourself.
Often those suffering from mental problems think they are different and are unique and often do not like being told in fact a lot of the time what they are experiencing is normal.
I see this often with dad when you have to try to convince him that is it OK and normal to feel that way.
Try to get a lot of rest, eat well and relax between study and above all do not get obsessed with any one thing.
End of lecture.

This is real life and freepers give the best hugs.
There is no one here who would not offer a shoulder to cry on, a pause to listen to you, or a joke to share either.
This place is like no other anywhere.

Also take socalpol advise and try to sort out an effective medication for you and some of the old ones are as good if not better than the newer "designer" drugs on the market.

I stayed on most of the medications for a while. Except for the Wellbutrin. With the rest of them, it sorta worked for a while and then wore off. I just started to feel numb. With the Wellbutrin, I started snapping at people. I was always angry. It was the scariest thing because I realized I didn't have any control.

Did they do blood levels on you to be sure you were in the therapeutic range before taking you off something?
Some people have livers that chew up the medicine real fast and need high doses before the blood levels get into the therapeutic range.
And I'm serious about checking if you have ever been on imipramine, brand name Tofranil.

Dad is on Clomipramine at night which I assume is the same family as the drug you menitioned.
This does definitely help him sleep but does not make him woozy or wobbly it induces a relaxed and less worry situation rather than drugged up feeling. For him at least.
