I'm as conservative as the day is long but I never make fun of addicts. Like I said, I think in the right circumstances anyone can succumb to drug addiction.

It makes me a minority on the FR community, but I don't think that in many of those types of cases personal morality isn't that big a factor. I think in the right circumstances, anyone can fall to drug addiction, cheat on a spouse, etc. The key is to keep yourself from those circumstances, and that in itself goes a long way towards not going down a bad path.

The pleadings in her case included transcripts of excerpts of phone conversations, which certainly suggests that she recorded the calls. I don't think, other than that inference, there has ever been proof she had recorded calls, but I could be wrong.

Rush is not convicted of a drug charge, he has agreed to the terms so all charges will be Dropped after 18 months...

I primarily listen to Mike Medved at that hour, or I am out of the house running errands. Dr Laura is aok in my book. The calls are often unintentionally hilarious, but that's not to say the issues callers raise are funny.

As you say, the average caller pretty much has a grasp of what to do, or should have a grasp, but is usually in a bit of denial. Today some guy in his mid 40s called up and had problems with his foxy younger wife (young 30s). She had a brief affair with some hunky guy she met at the gym, and they are trying to work it out. Of course, she wants to go to the gym again which puts her close with this guy.

Hubby was hurting, of course. But clearly, to anyone listening (and to Dr Laura), his fit young bride just wanted to have sex with this guy again. Why? Well, because sex with her boyfriend is fun. Dr Laura is firm and blunt, and that's sometimes the kick in the pants some people need.

After a few days she is grating. I leave for a while and always come back, usually when Medved has an hour that doesn't interest me. I usually agree with Dr Laura about 90%+ of the time.

I can't tell you how genuinely bummed I am when I tune in and I get Rick Roberts, or a 'best of' show. I love my daily Savage fix.

Savage used to have better subs - Jerry Doyle, Mancow from time to time, Bob Grant on occasion. Thing is, Savage is a jealous guy. He won't have a sub who is as good or better than he is. A shame. When Savage isn't on live, I just turn off.

Yea, I'm lucky. I get up around 7:30 and do my exericses and listen to Ingraham. I settle in to work at my desk as Prager starts, munch on breakfast and drink my java. Listen to Medved and if he loses my interest for an hour, I go out and run my errands and listen to Dr Laura in the car, then come home and settle into Savage. I like it.

Savage is my fave, followed by Prager (I love Prager's topics, he covers stuff that nobody else does). In fact, I like them all! :-)

Hugh Hewitt is a good guy and he has some good regular guests. Mark Steyn calls in for 20 mins every Thursday. Chris Hitchens I think on Wednesdays. He is smart and has clarity.

I love Tammy Bruce. I used to listen to her when I had Sirius (I ditched Sirius about the time Howard came on, just a coincidence). I wish she would speak here in LV, I'd go see her. She takes no prisoners and is a smart woman. I listen to the Saturday show from time to time but I am seldom home on weekends.
