There is a lot of complaining, whining, lying, misleading, and really bad analysis going on right now vis-a-vis high gas prices. The latest I saw (early this morning) was an analysis that shows a lack of parity between the percentage increase in the price of a barrel of oil and the price of a gallon of gasoline at the pump. Look, I am not an economist or an expert on these matters. But rather than just moaning about the price of gas and then uttering some disembodied, meaningless statistic I heard from some dude, I have actually been listening to experts over the last few days. And, as with just about everything, to more I learn about an issue, the more I realize how important it is to study things before making snap judgments or determining a personal policy position. This is really late to your earlier comment, and someone else might have said this - but I work at home, and happened to have Brit Hume on yesterday as my daughter was taking a late nap -- he and Cameron (can never remember his full name) discussed it as well.

good link .. interesting. So, ethenol will cost 100% more for the consumer than gasoline. Now theres a path to follow.
Well, I guess the argument against this is that those prices are today and that with volume production, etc. the price would come down ... would it?
