There is a lot of complaining, whining, lying, misleading, and really bad analysis going on right now vis-a-vis high gas prices. The latest I saw (early this morning) was an analysis that shows a lack of parity between the percentage increase in the price of a barrel of oil and the price of a gallon of gasoline at the pump. Look, I am not an economist or an expert on these matters. But rather than just moaning about the price of gas and then uttering some disembodied, meaningless statistic I heard from some dude, I have actually been listening to experts over the last few days. And, as with just about everything, to more I learn about an issue, the more I realize how important it is to study things before making snap judgments or determining a personal policy position. Here's the scoop as I now understand it...

On F&F this morning, Wendell Goller (sp) mentioned it and it seemed very inappropriate for Tony to have published such a column knowing he was under consideration for the Press Secretary position. Good to know Townhall made the mistake, though it seems strange it would happen on the day of the announcement. Could they have a Rat mole in charge of putting up articles on the website?

If they can sell more at $2.00 then they do at $2.50 they make FAR more money then selling at $2.00/ There is NO evidence to support Dan the Leftist idiot assumption that the Oil Companies would RAISE the price.
