"Certainly this isn't the first Hollywood production done in by the competing corporate and personal interests that funded it (consider the unspoken implicationsboth commercial and propagandisticof the film's last-minute title change from Flight 93 to United 93), but it is the only one I've come across where the families of those onboard gave it their full-on approval. Not all the families, of course. All evidence suggests that the terrorists' relatives were left entirely out of the creative process, an action which goes a way toward revealing the film's hagiographic bias (how easy it then becomes to turn victims into heroes and adversaries into monsters) and points up the general ridiculousness of involving the families in the first place (too many cooks spoiling an already rancid broth)."

We know what we're up against, but every once in a while it pays to check in and see what kind of diseased minds who would destroy us all are really out there.
Keith is on the "staff" of a site called "Toxic Universe." Of course he is. Here's from his bio--it drips with the kind of feel-good, nonjudgemental toxicity that's truly killing us all:
"Its not about convincing, he feels, or stating a final, unchangeable point. Rather its through our differences (of both physical self and emotional experience) that truths will arise."
Thanks, Keith--so much! As it turns out, his email address is also his literal location in life: keith@toxicuniverse.com. In case anyone wanted to respond to this fine young mind.
I think you have been had -- it sounds like a satire, to me (e.g.,Slant vs Slate)
No, I have not been had. It's for real. The guy has written a zillion reviews, and the site is real.
But Keith's parents were had.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
Wholly crap.
Is United 93 the same movie that aired on A&E a while back? I swear I remember watching a made for tv movie by that name about 9/11.
This wanker appears to be in earnest.
What a steaming pile this is! Good lord, how can someone be so stupid?
I think it may have been "Flight 93".
Perhaps it is. It sure sounds like parody.
I'm with you.
Too bad the reviewer wasn't on flight 93 so he could get a more accurate account from the terrorists side.
Different movie, same event. That was tv, this is for theatrical distribution.
Indeed. He gave it a half star rating.
I'm going to borrow a word from another thread. Hey Keith...Backpfeifengesicht.
Or better yet have a tete-a-tete (pun intended) with one of his "victims" as he slices Keith's head off while chanting Allah Akbar. Then his fellow Toxic idiots could interview the "victim's" parents and the parents would insist that the Jews were behind the beheading. How can the left be so bloody stupid?
No then this knucklehead would have warn the terrorist that passengers were going to storm the cockpit
I haven't seen the film myself, but I heard Glenn Beck talk about it on his radio show, and he was so overwhelmed by it he had to stop several times because he was too emotional and choked up to continue. He said it was one of the most moving films he had ever seen.
