Is it because of their "social conservatism" that illegal aliens are so overrepresented in the prison population?

. . . family oriented and socially conservative people immigrating to the US. You haven't been keeping up to Mexican protest movements, have you? Who cares if they are " family oriented and socially conservative", they want to take a good part of the US and make it like the hellhole they escaped from.
Are you in this country legally?

That's right, Hitler's name lives in infamy because of all the Jews he "deported".
By the way, I can't tell you how glad I am that you're not on my side in any of the debates on FR.

"We don't need 12 million deportations, we need a few thousand employers in jail and the illegal will first stop coming, and eventually will have no choice but to go home." Let's not limit how many employers. Every one of them should face jail, and every single one of them should be fined at least how much they have saved by hiring illegal immigrants. Better yet, fine them twice the amount or more. Business understands profits even when they do not understand, or ignore the law.

No, I am not buying into anything Reid says, BUT I do believe that President Bush is complicit, in the fact he has stated over and over he wants amensty(under a guest worker name) and he favors open borders. This makes it his fault. He can push congress to not pass any bill and he does have the power to force our federal agencies to enforce the law.
We don't need new laws, we need to enforce the ones that are now on the books and he refuses to do so.
This makes it HIS fault, as well as the fault of congress who should be holding his feet to the fire and demanding he enforce our laws!

Don't try to confuse them with facts. Their mind is made up and we simply cannot deport all of the illegals, ok? That's the story and everyone has to sing it.
The other part of the story is that we're a nation of immigrants, ok? We simply cannot distinguish between LEGAL immigration and ILLEGAL immigration, ok? Now that's the story, stick to it, ok?
The other part of the story is that deportation is a violation of their rights, ok? Illegals have rights, ok? Now sing that one too, in perfect harmony.
And they are here doing jobs that Americans won't do, ok? That's the clincher. Nevermind that REAL Americans are hocking family heirlooms to put gas in their cars, that's the story and we're all gonna stick to it, ok?
The Republicans make me sick.
