Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony") and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
You know since the announcement has become a lot more "real" and Tony has "disappeared" from FR, I have had a degree of shock and loneliness that wasn't there when it was just a discussion about probabilities. I still think it's a Wonderful thing for the country, but I do feel a little stranded here in the morning. I'll just have to look forward to my Rush fix at 12...Does anyone else feel that way?
Where are you Ras?
OkC
You have described exactly how I feel.
Kinda seems wierd this morning....that's for certain.
This was posted on "Hotline Blog". It makes me feel a little better to know that Tony's not just going to be a mouthpiece but that he will have input!
(Sorry about the formatting - I'm not the html expert that many of you are! ;^) )

Snow In May?
A week after White House press secretary Scott McClellan suddenly resigned, and -- nothing.
Late last week, White House chief of staff Josh Bolten directly (firmly but politely) asked senior administration officials to stop unburdening themselves to the process-hungry Washington press corps. That explains, in part, why speculative chatter has diminished.
In the meantime, Fox Newser Tony Snow is said by Republicans familiar with the negotiations to have asked for guaranteed access to the president's ear and to an unusually large degree of latitude to reconfigure the WH press operation. That pleases the new chief of staff, who wants to relegitimize the press podium in the Brady briefing room.
But Snow, not content to be a herald, also wants near-complete control over what he says from the podium, be it bromides, platitudes or substance. That would encroach on the broad portfolio of responsibilities that Dan Bartlett claims for himself.
As of this morning, Snow's colleagues at the White House haven't been formally told that he's coming -- or if he's coming, when the announcement will out.
I must admit I get spoiled living in the NYC metro area. There's so much to do here.
I've been away for a couple of hours...just got back. I completely understand what you mean- I bet many will feel sad and empty for awhile. Tony will be a fantastic PS...but he will not be "our" Tony again for a long time.
He will miss us too...he is about to hit major culture shock and have many adjustments ahead.
I'm so proud of him and know he will make important contributions to the administration.
Of course.
I feel exactly the same way. Although I don't usually post much on this thread, I read it almost every day.
Rush is not on today - he has a sub - but I forgot who it was supposed to be.
Paul W. Smith.
I guess we'll have to bill the White House for therapy sessions....LOL
>Does anyone else feel that way?
Oh yeah. I have that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.
I hope Tony finds someway to say goodbye.
I understand why it has to happen this way, but that doesn't make it any easier.
Oh right...Darn!
There's plenty of theaters...guess none are planning on showing it, and don't want my money after all. Screw 'em!
Paul W. Smith? Michigan's Paul W. Smith?? Excellent!
