And there's more!
Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony") and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
New glasses for you....l0ins, not lIons. ;)
1-If the contracts are not signed, then they probably have a non-disclosure covering negotiations, as FOX could put pressure on him negotiating out of his contract, for example.
2-It wouldn't look good from the rest-of-world perspective if it seemed like "Faux News" had installed "their guy" in the WH.
I don't think companies "get mad," anyway. Ailes will be glad, I would think......and it's only two years, max. So Tony can come back....fingers crossed.
Hi Bahbah! Skipped to the end of the posts (will try to catch up later). Sounds like a pretty much done deal. Will sure miss our mornings with Tony, but celebrate what Tony can do for conservatives and the Country.
I don't think we were ignoring you - we're just busy multi-tasking - watching the President on TV, listening to Brian and occasionally running off to the Kitchen to grab another cuppa.
I have a real complaint about the President's speech and I sure hope that Tony can make an impact and suggest that Pres. Bush quit saying "ta" instead of "to". It makes me nuts. He has done it everytime he has used the word this Morning.
How is the President a good example when he says "ta" instead of "to"?? I've noticed it more and more lately, but the President is the worst at it. Yuk.
Wasn't that his position from the very beginning?
If he took the job it would be announced by the WhiteHouse, not by the lamestream media or FoxNewsChannel.
I am sure of that, but circumstances may prevent him from being at the WHCA dinner, which is where I was going to see him.
We're all sitting here like those ducks waiting for the crumbs to be tossed to us. I am happy for Tony...but what will we do as a group? I'll miss "us" here! :o(
I don't have a radio today, so I am counting on Freepers letting me know what's going on.
I am watching my granddaughter today, so I am at my remote location with no XM radio!
If you do see Tony, tell him that some of us have been thinking of sending him a 5-gallon cuss jar for the press room.
DeNiro picked United 93 to kick-off Tribeca Festival. Good for Bob.
Bad example, but Cindy Shee-hag says "ta" instead of "to" also. Many people do (but not I).
Yes...and I was surprised too. They have inproved technology so much in the past decades. Why are the others hesitating...unless it is political...and isn't everything?
And that is what has been missing the past few years. Tony will be a strong advocate for the president.
