He looks like a deer in the headlights. He's been completely ineffectual, and downright disappointing, in my view. President Bush has been in dire need for a replacement press secretary since Ari Fleischer left.

This is great news! I really like Tony Snow. Of course, the liberal press will slam him, they are so full of hate. But Tony is the best man for the job; he has the 'likability' factor that will make these yapping hyenas look like the fools they are. Its a win-win for Bush.

My guess is that it is a done deal or those posts would still be here.

Don't get me wrong, I think Tony Snow is one of the BEST. He will be far more impressive than his predecessor, and again I hate to be a wet blanket, here...but Tony Snow is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. That puts him in the same group as Cokie, Gunga Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Ba-Ba Wa-Wa, Mike Wallace, Walter "That's the Way it Was" Cronkite and the late Ernie Pile as well as the late Edward R. Murrow. Those last two names are among the most dinstinguished in all of journalism. They are probably not among those one would tend to think of as pro NWO...like the NWO poster-boy Cronkite. Like it or not, CFR membership does not dovetail with freedom! Like I said, I DO like Tony Snow, but if they're in journalism AND in CFR, I'll watch 'em! Trust...but verify.
