I sensed long ago that Goss may have started some sting ops. Time will tell...

she said "a conservative website whose name I can't remember" She talks about the "secret prisons" and the turmoil at the CIA. Video of her lecture is posted here. It is about 58 minutes long. FR reference starts around 27:30.

I got to the 27:30 mark

Sooooooooo the question now is .. is Dana just a lurker of FR .. or signed up as a Freeper

I'm waiting on someone to tie this old gal into the disappearance of dozens of laptops at State Department toward the end of the Clintonista period, and then a later disappearance from Central Command.

You can find the good stuff for this at

The original plane story Dana claims is what got her to look in the Prison story was posted on October 26, 2001

She didn't write a story till December 27, 2004

And then Dana gives this speech on March 20, 2006

Is it me or doesn't this smell funny

Probably a lurker. If she signed up, she would have been outed as a troll pretty darn fast. (Hi Dana!)

Here's one report on it:

Former Aide Takes Aim at War on Terror

By Laura Blumenfeld
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, June 16, 2003; Page A01

Five days before the war began in Iraq, as President Bush prepared to raise the terrorism threat level to orange, a top White House counterterrorism adviser unlocked the steel door to his office, an intelligence vault secured by an electronic keypad, a combination lock and an alarm. He sat down and turned to his inbox.

"Things were dicey," said Rand Beers, recalling the stack of classified reports about plots to shoot, bomb, burn and poison Americans. He stared at the color-coded threats for five minutes. Then he called his wife: I'm quitting.

Beers's resignation surprised Washington, but what he did next was even more astounding. Eight weeks after leaving the Bush White House, he volunteered as national security adviser for Sen. John F. Kerry (Mass.), a Democratic candidate for president, in a campaign to oust his former boss. All of which points to a question: What does this intelligence insider know?

cont'd......

There were no "secret underground CIA prisons" ~ or any other kind of prisons. This is a storyline straight out of the second season of "24".

Liberals and commies don't watch FOX TV productions.

An awful lot of them live on one side of River Road or the other, either in NW DC or in Bethesday, maybe even out in Potomac MD.

We have some Freepers who dispute that this is a single community. I encourage you all to take a look at the map.

These are all pretty much career positions. When the old regime leaves town, some of them stay behind and take top level, but otherwise OPEN career positions ~ just like they were a normal hire.

They then receive Civil Service protection. At the CIA that "ain't much", but it's something. This woman has been in and out of the agency on and off for years. They probably thought they had a real, but non-partisan winner. Obviously "they" were wrong.

Remember, the guys who hired the Rosenbergs didn't get electrocuted.

Here is the post Dana Priest mentions in her talk at UC

PREMIERE EXECUTIVE TRANSPORT SERVICES Sounds like a nice generic cover name. Kind of like Air America.

That was right around the time the FBI found that Russian sitting on a bench infront of State listening to the bug that was planted in a conference room. I remember thinking at the time, "Dont they sweep for bugs anymore??" Now, I wonder if it wasnt lax security and someting more sinister..

Naw, Dana could get away with imitating a Freeper ~ remember, she's a professional writer and liar.

Must frustrate her a lot though.

Now, when you get to her husband, that's different. He's a died in the wool Marxist/Leninist.
