Well GWB may "believe his policy" is best but the majority of Americans don't.. and it's that majority that elected him. The President's rigidity here is creating a crisis for the American people, he should be thinking of THEM FIRST ..and he is not.

There are polls that do not back up your assertion that most Americans oppose a guest worker program.

At any rate, it's best not to base one's opinion on a poll in the first place.

You're wrong. The latest polls I've seen (about 3 weeks ago) have indicated that a majority of Americans favor a solution similar to what Bush is proposing.

We elected Bush for his stance on protecting this country, we backed everything he did but one singular issue and that is because now our border's/ports are no better protected than 5 years ago.


These extremists are threatening to shut our ports down Monday for goodness sakes, this is what people stand for?
