Be sure to bow and scrape while posting your dissenting opinion....
... they better sense the proper level of humility or you're being too hateful.

Yeah........that's it. I'm thick, and you're a nice person.

And I think that accusing a man of being a joke belonging on SNL is most helpful to intelligent dialogue.

Forgive me for being such a dolt. Call me all the names you want. Call the man you don't hate all the names you want.

Far be it from me to get in the way of your 'niceness.' Carry on.....

"What do you expect of those who dismiss his 11th Commandment without a second thought?"

So you've given up on trying to support your position on a policy basis and now you are invoking the mandate of blind obedience to a personality cult.

Calling for the impeachment of President Bush is NOT acceptable on this conservative forum.

Since you share the same goals, why don't you just join the left? Or is that where you're coming from in the first place?

Leftists don't recognize honor when it hits them in the face. Describes you to a 'T'

Because the President is just repeating the same tired old offensive mantra, he's going to be the brunt of John and Ken's fury today.

He sure ain't makin' friends and influencing people in So Cal today...

Well GWB may "believe his policy" is best but the majority of Americans don't.. and it's that majority that elected him. The President's rigidity here is creating a crisis for the American people, he should be thinking of THEM FIRST ..and he is not.

Not really, I suspect clawrence supports the policy not the man. If Bush were calling for the Tancredo line regarding illegals he could probably care less what anyone had to say about Bush.

Clawrence's notion of how to save the Republican Party is to shoot the messenger.

Illegals need to be treated with respect.

DD, we see illegal aliens on a daily basis. Have you ever felt that they treat US with respect? Bush is so out of touch with real America that it's insulting!

I didn't listen to the speech (I just can't), but I'm wondering if anyone mentioned the 10 billion bucks his buddies cost us here in Mexifornia every year? He expect us to respect THAT?

And I believe that too. And I also believe that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

There are polls that do not back up your assertion that most Americans oppose a guest worker program.

At any rate, it's best not to base one's opinion on a poll in the first place.

Well, one would guess there are worse things than being lampooned by a couple of blowhards who thought they could unseat David Drier.

And I would add that I bet Ted Kennedy truly believes his solution is the best way to solve the problem as well.

That's wrong, border security has not improved. Border enforcement has deteriorated beyond belief. The local Houston radio talk show hosts (good conservatives and long time Bush supporters all) have done live remote broadcasts from the border. It's a crisis situation which Bush, Chertoff et al just plain lie about.

The principal talk show host Dan Patrick just won a 69% victory for state senate as a political novice in a 4 way race over 3 well known political officeholders with his No. 1 issue as "order on the border." He, like the vast majority of voters are LIVID with Bush over this issue.

In the next legislative session, Texas will take steps to secure the Texas border with Mexico, and we don't give a rat's patoot what Bush and the federal government says about it.
