Mine too! I also called three of McCain's numbers and spent considerable time giving his staff heartburn over his "lettuce picking" job offer. They all had some pat excuses and I didn't let them off the hook for any of them.

The Roberts folks at least pretend to listen while playing solitaire on their computer. They do at least say "thank you, your opinion is very important to the senator."

I have dear friends who have lost the lives of their children on the streets of America to illegal aliens.

I was responding to one who was saying that it was the ONLY issue that mattered.
To me, putting our troops in more danger because you are leaking national security information is as great a problem as we have in this country.
The leftists are trying to destroy us from inside and out. They are as dangerous as the terrroists, IMO. To minimize the significance of this CIA leak is to minimize the value of our soldiers, and our safety. I couldn't let that go by without comment.
If we cease to be a sovereign nation those things will be meaningless. If we don't control the border we will cease to be a sovereign nation. If amnesty, by any name, is given the illegal foreign nationals they will bring at least three more of their families in and at least three times as many new illegals will see an opportunity to do the same.
How many people in the world are worse off than Mexicans and Latin Americans in poverty? I think a low figure would be a half billion. Almost twice our current legal population.
At any rate, I've had quite enough of being misquoted and outright lied about, so I'm off this happy thread.

Fine. But that exact gambit was only very recently played on me by Howlin. It's not right. The idea that someone doesn't care about any issue just because they don't frequent the same threads on Free Republic you do is ridiculous and offensive.
