So essentially...... this speech today gives all those illegals at the rallies, with the
in your face attitude ... a pat on the head---you know, it's OK, you're hard working ...just doing the jobs Americans don't want....
...I'm really sick of it!
Very very sick of it!
I worked hard for both elections....not only the stamp licking and envelope stuffing....
..but in the street, on the sidewalks....standing outnumbered sometimes against angry liberal Dems...
..I went to West Palm during the 2000 election fiasco.
We give financially.
....sigh...
To: spectre
Ding-a-ling! It has a ring!

I say he will, or be defeated in the Republican primary. Uh, the Republican primary was March 7. Perry won.

Actually, I have had extended conversations with clawrence and he isn't an OBL, --- he's muddle headed (IMO) regarding the ones already here.
Clawrence tries to practice Christianity the way he believes Jesus wants.

Actually, it was closer to 40%
Anyone "Republican" who stays home next November because he disagrees with W over imigration is helping ensure the election of Democrats. And, since Democrats advocate an even more liberal imigration policy, any Republican who helps them get into office is a dunce.

We're not going to war against Mexico. Don't be silly.

I can't tell you how many Republicans and others out this way are so pissed off and are telling me they won't bother coming out to vote. This is going to sink the Republican party for some time IMO.
I can't be bothered with citizens who are guilty of dereliction of duty in Wartime.
As to sinking the party, the party is already sunk according to many on FR. Nominating "what's her name" for the Supreme Court sunk the party. The Dubai Ports deal sunk the party. And I am sure that by the November elections there will other things that sink the party.

Stop your rudeness about Ohio!!
She puts her words on the line and backs them up.
She's sacrificed time, effort and family to preserving our country.--She's a military mom!
You do an extreme disservice to a fine lady!
Just stop!
To: WalterSkinner
BUMP!
I think George Allen is misrepresented in the listing.

I personally disagree that "Dubya is truly a ding-a-ling on the issue" of illegal immigration and path for citizenship. Not sure how every political group I belong to views it, or my church for that matter.

Well, you could refer to Dan Patrick's race results and the results of the stateside poll in the Republican primary. You could also listen to Houston talk radio. There may be some actual statistics (Dan Patrick probably has some on his website), but I can't quote them off the top of my head.
I just know from personal experience and observation that this is so, at least in this part of Texas.
No one will win state wide office as a Republican who does not agree with what I will call the Dan Patrick position and expressly rejects the George Bush position on immigration.
