To be fair, it was much harder to falsify documents when that law passed, so if you had a Social Security Card you were most likely legal.

Did you hear the two policemen from Utah....this morning on Fox & Friends...

..they say at least 100 illegals pass through their small town...(the highway connects to I-70 and is easy access to disappearing or assimilating into the US)....

...EVERY NIGHT!...Every night this happens...

..and they have no way of stopping and holding them!

They do not have the facilities...and no one in authority is coming down to help them!!!!!

MINDBOGGLING!.....Only once did someone come...and that was only because the van carrying the illegals was broken down!

Take a look at the number of able bodies men and women who'd rather live off welfare than pack up and move somewhere to take a job for less.

They would have to do it if they had no other recourse. That's what past generations of pre-welfare Americans had to do. Remember the Grapes of Wrath? And once enough hard-working illegal workers join the welfare rolls they, too, will be among those avoiding "jobs Americans won't do."

Anyone who has ever tried to hire for entry level jobs has a front seat understanding of this issue.

I actually talked to a woman a couple years ago who was willing to loose her house rather than demean herself by taking an entry level job. She was a college graduate afterall. Nevermind that capable people who started at entry level were moved up in the company very quickly...they just used this method to keep everyone working as a team and understanding each other.

Strangely, she thought loosing the house was Bush's fault.

See, clawrence, even YOU can't defend our President for forgetting (on purpose) to acknowledge the upcoming Nationwide Boycott May 1st.

I suspect Bush is looking forward to that day..as much as I am. But he's wrong if he thinks it will make his case for Illegal amnesty.

It's going to backfire in his face and unfortunately, the Republican party is going to suffer the consequences.
