We should care for one overriding reason: The current-day Democratic Party is insane. Think about the types of people that would be running the show if the Dems regained control of the House: John Conyers. Jim McDermott. Cynthia McKinney. Alcee Hastings. On and on. These people are the radical moonbat left, not the comparatively moderate Dems of the Clinton era.

I'll take rational Republicans any day, no matter how far they've strayed from their Reaganesque roots. I'd rather be annoyed with my Congressmen and Senators than terrified of them.

Bush isnt going to do anything about immigration that contrats with his position sice he was gov in 1994. He oppossed Prop 182 in CA at that time.

He isnt going to investigate futures markets, the oil companies etc. He is not the type to pull stunts that will produce no tangible results.

No, Cheney automatically becomes Veep. But I guarantee that if there's impeachment, it will be against Cheney first, followed by filibustering any nominee to replace him while they impeach Bush.

There are some Democrats calling to impeach both Bush and Cheney at the same time. I presume that in such a case, a "Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi" would instantly become president.

Of course, if the American public is dumb enough to allow the Rats to take over either house of Congress, I'm not entirely sure we won't deserve whatever we get.

That is an outright lie and, if you read the article, you know it. No opinion or personal characterization of any of those people was given. It merely said that they were all members of the Trilateral Commission. It doesn't even say that that is a bad thing anywhere in the article. If it is untrue you are free to present evidence or otherwise credibly deny that assertion.

I am surprised that you would make such a slimy unfounded accusation about me and will be even more surprised if you post information that contradicts anything in that article.
