Kerry has the opportunity to lead a movement once again... by rallying a very angry public to force a change in policy. Richard Nixon worried about Kerry's potential as a leader back in the 70s; maybe the new Kerry will finally prove him right.
John Kerry came to national attention not because he was a war hero but because he was a dissenter. In 1971, he appeared on "The Dick Cavett Show," testified before Congress, and electrified anti-war rallies with his message that the war was wrong. His phrase, "How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?" was used for years to define his commitment and eloquence.

It's the real John Kerry, no doubt about it.
"Sociologist Todd Gitlin in a new book, "The Intellectuals and the Flag" argues that the intellectual left must take back the flag in order to reclaim power. He argues that especially since 9/11, what intellectuals must make clear is that they are patriots. Gitlin also says intellectuals must do more than dissent and should sharpen values and "sketch visions" for the public on where American democracy should go."
I'm beginning to think all the leftists in education aren't a bad thing. Forget that they've dumbed down blacks, they've also dumbed down their own. The rest of us just refuse to be that stupid. They're busy sharpening their values and sketching visions and as far as taking back the flag?
Don't make me laugh.

Richard Nixon worried about Kerry's potential as a leader back in the 70s; maybe the new Kerry will finally prove him right. Has Kerry actually ever 'lead' anything? I think I heard he tried to start a cookie company once, but other than that failure he has never had executive responsibility for anything. IMO a Kerry presidency would be four years of confusion, inconsistency, mixed messages, and avoidance of responsibility .... much like the Clinton administration was.

If former Pres Nixon was worried about Kerry - it proves he was smarter than a whole bunch of others. Have we always had RINOS?

Kerry would be a yellow-striped blend of Carter & Dukakis... with a smidge of Quisling.

We should be promoting Kerry and not knocking him. Same with Gore. Hillary, Kerry and Gore need to go at it head to head. They can all outlib each other and spend millions doing it. Basically, wipe out all their accounts so they have nothing for the General election.

John Kerry once again slams American troops- Check it out-
"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the-of-the historical customs, religious customs."

I missed it in the article. What was, is or will be the his "plan?" Here's his plan...

This has got to be the most hilarious headline I've seen for quite a while.
Considering the source, I guess it's fake but accurate.
The real sKerry always stood up and he was always a phony.
I can just imagine Dotty at the keyboard with Jefferson Airplane going in the background, "Got a revolution, got to revolution". Ah, those were golden days, Dotty. At least, in your imagination.
