Probably the question he was intending to ask... the one that has been going through my mind a lot lately.... would 2 years of Democrat rule be THAT bad????

If there was a way to ensure that the Dems would only get 2 years, I would be very happy. In fact, I am willing to double my efforts in 2008.

As a solid conservative, I am planning to sit it out this year.

...consider that if you sit it out across the board, nobody hears from you. But if you vote for conservative third party candidates, truly conservative Republicans, and withhold your vote from liberals regardless of their party affiliation, this will do more for conservatism than just sitting it out.

Don't sit it out. Vote for Conservatives, if the race is RINO vs. Lib, just skip it, but don't let your good Conservatives get voted out.

Well...if by "that bad" you mean...that watching a sitting POTUS being impeached during the time of WAR....

While Al-queda and other terrorist groups would be foaming at the mouth to slip in and do damage while Bush is having to worry about testifying before some PEACOCK fools...isn't THAT BAD...

Then by all mean SIT OUT!!!

Why not simply vote for better Conservatives?

Why would you suggest letting Democrats have power under any circumstance?

Democrats are to the left of those you disapprove of, on all levels of policy.

You need to seriously reconsider your remarks.

would 2 years of Democrat rule be THAT bad????

I guess it depends on whether you believe John Conyers, Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton wouldn't do any worse.

Yep. We have problems. We have traitorous dems waiting to get in. We have Republicans in Congress unwilling to fight. And we have many conservative voters who have deteriorated into a bunch of crybabies and whiners.

We're in a marathon. We should unemotionally and methodically try to upgrade the players on our side with conservatives that can speak and persuade the public to our views to get the votes to prevail, not give the ball to the other side FCOL.

I agree.

I'm staying home in the hope that the dims will take power for 2 years and teach the GOP a lesson.

I've voted GOP in EVERY election since my first...when I voted for Gerald Ford.

That's idiotic. You don't turn around things that fast. With the exception of 1952-1954, the House DOES NOT switch that fast.

And there are other issues other then spending.

Stay home if you want, but you'll get more of what you don't want if you do.
