Thank you for that ping. Weldon reamins strong on the offecnsive and calling a spade a spade and rightfully so. The problem is, these 'spades' are like gophers popping out of there holes, where to shoot first?

I have the utmost confidence in Curt Weldon. He is absolutely right about the infestation at the CIA and other intelligence agencies. You or I would be doing 10-20 in Leavenworth if we even came close to disclosing what McCarthy did or sneaking classified documents out like Berger did.

He's going back to the House of Representatives in the fall. Maybe some day, he'll go for the bigger house in D.C. And he'd have my support.

Bravo to you for mentioning Porter Goss. Porter Goss is an unsung hero in all of this. I remember when he first took over the post, he seemed overwhelmed with jst how tough things had gotten within the CIA. He has nonetheless stayed true to his word and on the right course. I admire him a great deal. I hope they prosecute this woman and the others they'll inevitably find to the fullest extent of the law.

I've had great respect for Goss for many years, being a Floridian. I wasn't in his district when he was in the House, but from everything I've ever heard, he's a solid guy.

You're right- he's the unsung hero so far- but the media will eventually get around to demonizing him too. Then, he'll be truly appreciated by all the folks with common sense! :)

I've admired his solidity for a long time before he was appointed. Should be treated as a full cabinet officer as was Wm Casey...with an office right in the White House West Wing.
